Make you a kleptomaniac? I swear it did to me, and now, whenever I get a new game, I have the urge to get 100% and then a (usually) 120%.

All cause I am now a kleptomaniac. Damn gems and dragon eggs.

SO MUCH STUFF TO COLLECT.

No, not really. I just really like to make sure I've beaten everything in the game so I won't miss anything.

I like to collect everything in a Spyro game, not even a Spyro game really, any game, otherwise it bugs me that it is still there and I haven't got it.

Sorta the same, I guess.

But I think I am a kleptomaniac personally.

Whenever I see items in lbp2 I like and its a 2x game, I just try to find a way to break (not literally) the game and get the prize bubbles without needing a extra player to help me. smilie

Isn't kleptomania an obsession of stealing things?

Actually its the sometimes called a disorder where people have the irrisistable urge to collect or hoard things.

And I don't mean this in real life people, I mean in videogames where you have to collect stuff.

Just to make it clear.

Kleptomania, as far as I know, only has to do with theft. You seem to be thinking of completionism or compulsive hoarding.

Oh, god. I laughed so hard.
You know, like how most people are saying, the definition to that word is "steal".

And each time I play this game; I always try to get it to 120%. :U

The first time, yeah... but that's only so I can say I've finished it.

Then the rest of the time I play it for the story line and nostalgia.

Whenever I got new game I have two targets:
1. Finish game - I'm playing it almost every time I can, 'til I finish it for at least 1 time.
2. Complete for 100% - I continue to play this game and I'm getting everything I can. Sometimes I get bored and after several months I play this game again smilie Surprisingly, it really works! Today I finished Ratchet: Gladiator for 100% after 3 years!

I play for 100% (or 120%, as it were) every time I play this game, along with Spyro 2 and 3. Not so much other games because they tend to be rather unfair.

It's honestly agonizing though, because I can't enjoy the game like a normal person anymore now that I know where everything is! I've been thinking of doing a minimalist run, just to show myself that it is perfectly OK to play the game without getting mad at Tree Tops and Haunted Towers.

Not necessarily. If I want to complete a game 100% / 120%, it usually it depends on the game itself, and whether I feel the need to complete it. But Games like the first three Spyro and Crash games were the ones I wanted to complete.
