Jared S Pullen, a concept artist for The Legend of Spyro games, started releasing his pieces of art for the series. He has decided to make it a regular thing, and eventually, we will see some unfamiliar art that has never made it to the web. On top of that, these art pieces have backstory behind them, and give us a peek at things that never made it into the game, including story elements. I thought the you guys might be interested, so I decided to make a topic of it. There is some pretty interesting, behind-the-scenes info here.

The last couple I don't remember seeing. but there was a topic a while back where aura and Razz poste links to Jared"s art which were some of those pictures. is he putting more up then before?

Apparantly, he is making this a regular thing. He will periodically post more and more art. I don't know how often, or if there is even a fixed scheduele. But there will be more, regardless.

To be honest, if you are part of the Legend of Spyro Fans group on deviantART, this would of been something you would see anyway. I just put it here for the people who may not see it, and for discussion.

I wish that they had more time with LoS, it probably would have been a better story, and more to it.

It was really interesting looking at those pictures, and reading the stories to them! I especially liked the Ignitus's armour and the story behind that.

But this part made me curious about the whole TLoS Storyline..
(It's the huge statue that we assumed was 'Malefor'.)

Yeah, I wish that Ignitus' armour quest made it in. I liked the underlying idea behind it.

Yeah, that part had me confused. Although, I still think it's supposed to be Malefor, when he was good, that is.

Malefor doesn't look evil in that picture.

But it wasn't originally intended to be him.. Just what a purple dragon looks like, and possibly Spyro when he's older. Then the idea of it being the Dark Master came.
Mehh, it just makes me wonder whether there were just two purple dragons: Spyro & Malefor, or if there really were more in the pasy.
