The day before E3 and a brand new trailer has been released. It shows off a whole load of the new Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure characters including the new villain Kaos.

The story's pretty.... childish yet unique, in my opinion.

Wow, this made me more hopeful. I even got a few glimpses of like two more dragons, and I swear one of them looked like Flame. smilie

Spyro doesn't look so bad in the beginning parts. He actually shows expression. And I got screenshots of the two dragons I noticed.

The first one's fat and reminds me of the flying enemies from Enchanted Towers. smilie
The second reminds me of what I'd imagine Flame to look like in Skylanders.
Not that clear of images. :/ Couldn't get them any clearer. [User Posted Image]

That narrator tries so hard to make the story sound epic. It doesn't work. smilie

And Kaos is pronounced "Chaos"? I thought it was pronounced "Cay-os". Damn, I'm a dunce.

^ Exactly.

After seeing the CGI, the in-game models look.. pretty bad. :/

Either way, not impressed. If anyone noticed, this is a game based on the Skylands' skylanders. Spyro is so OBVIOUSLY thrown in just to make it appeal to people.

That's the way it should be, since CGI models are often sculpted and then made digital (or those brush marks I see on Sonic are "fur" O-o). The actual in-game model looks like it has very low polygon count for what it could have.

Yes, but it shouldn't come up looking like clay or wax in the finished clip (Final Fantasy CGI, anyone, or even Sonic?), unless it's Aardman type stuff they are looking for.
