I went against everyone's advice, and sold my PS3 DotD (for only about £20, too)


Now, I want it back, and to buy it costs double what I sold it for. D:

Why did you do that?

The PS3 used to be in my brother's room, so I barely got to have a go on it. I figured that changing my PS3 DotD for a Wii version would be a smarter thing to do, as I'd be able to play it more. Guess what? Now the PS3 is downstairs, and my brother barely touches it since he's busy with tests and school work.

Not only is that the case, but if you saved it for a few years, you could've gotten a lot of money off of it, seeing how rare PS3 copies are nowadays.

If I had a PS3 copy, I'd give it to you. But I only have it on Xbox 360.

Or you could go buy a better game. Or get Gamefly and rent it.

emulator?

^ Is there even an emulator FOR PS3 that works? I never even found a PS1 emulator that worked or was stable.

Emulator? My laptop can barely run PS1 games- all hell would break loose if I forced it to run DotD!

I've seen a PS3 copy three or four times in two stores nearby me.

I have seen a PS3 copy once, but that was years ago.

i use pcsx realoded to run my ps1 spyro games, but that is for macs. psx is a ps1 emultor that i think would run on windows.

I have a PS2 copy. Sorry. <.>

how much did it cost?

i got a copy at Gamestop, (online) for around 44$ (that was for 2 day shipping the normal price was around 30$)

I only have the playstation 2 copy.

Damn, that really must annoy you, I actually know the feeling.

Meh I dont play on mine anymore i lent it to my friend a year ago i barely see her and I completed it 100/100 on everything so she can keep it

If y'all are wonderin, I actualy knew of a PS2 emulator (yeah, ps1 too) that worked. Never got released, shame.

There's a working PS2 emulator, it just requires a fast computer. Although ever since I got Dazzle, I haven't had the need to use it

I have one, but for some reason, I can't get it working properly on my laptop, despite it being much more powerful than the computer in my dad's house, which the Dazzle HAS worked on. If I could just fix this one problem, I'd be able to make video game videos for my YouTube on a regular basis.

My laptop is the only computer it will work on, even if it does slow down after long use. I can't find the disc to install it on my main computer, which is a bummer :/

Are there any specific errors or anything?

It just skips a ton of frames for some reason. The sound works fine, and the actual picture resolution looks great, but all the frames just go haywire. I have the same setup too. I also tried using Pinnacle Studio 14, but that didn't work either.

That's really strange. On preview it skips frames for me (making it difficult to create walkthroughs and the like), but not on the final project. Have you tried contacting support (only thing I can think of, pfft)?

Haven't tried that yet, actually. Maybe I should. But it does happen for me on the final product. I tend to turn the preview off when recording, anyway.

I may try converting the final capture into WMV, and see what happens, actually. Then again, I record in MPEG, so it shouldn't be a problem.....

You could try that. I had problems recording in certain formats sometimes, and with some games it won't record properly at all (would be fine if I still had Sony Vegas to edit my vids with those though.... Curse you, trial period).

Heh, I have to keep preview on as it's only connected to Dazzle itself ;

I got the full version of Sony Vegas...



Hopefully, I'll be able to get this issue sorted soon. And my issues with Fraps.
