In the FMV's he's purple? I've always thought it was the light from the beam that made it seem like that. I watched it through about five times in a row to work that out. In the spilt second he's still possessed when Cynder knocks him out of the beam he was suspended in, I think he's black. I may be wrong though.

He was black, it just doesn't last long enough to be noticeable unless your paying attention. As for the colouration while within the beam, I believe he is still black, the lighting from the beam just washes out most of the detail. I could be wrong though.

unless he has a strong will the darkness shall take him......

I agree With Razz Dragonhope. There have been so many theories on the ending of DotD, and the fact is we won't know until we play it. Also, when we do play the game, we must remember to take time to enjoy it, Not just rush through to see the climactic ending. We'll know soon enough.

Ugh, people still don't know?! I read it on Spyroworld, they have a quote from Nintendo power.

In TEN when Spyro is Dark Spyro and it is the cutscene when he is in FMV seqence he is still the same way he looks in the normal cutscenes.

I have just scene the ending to TEN again on youtube and when you look very closly when Cynder knocks him out of the beam black dust scatters around. This is proving that Spyroreally was black in the beam but the beams purple light hide the dark color from view.

I hope this resolves what people have been fighting about.

I don't know wot kind of name Malefor is, I would thing it is British for some reason. Did you Know that the company that made the original Spyro series (Insomniac) is British?
