DRAGON

REVOLUTION
INTRODUCTION
The Dragon Realms, home to thousands of dragons, is, just like our world, full of many good, and few evil.
A wise dragon once said that there are too many reasons to count what makes one evil. He said that whatever the reason, they are all as not as powerful as they make themselves appear to be, and deep down, they are hurt, angered and feel worthless. They are afraid to show that, and must appear fierce and dangerous to everyone around them. Perhaps they really are powerful, physically, but no matter what, they are always weak inside.
CHAPTER ONE - PART ONE
FIRST PERSON
The snow hit the ground almost faster than a cheetah. But despite the clusters of white blocking Jo and I’s vision, we saw it. A mysterious, shining oval shape, which was so shiny, it was visible in even the most dreadful of all snowstorms. We we’re too far away to see what it was, but we both knew there was something special about it. We were certain their was a reason to pick it up. It was if it was shouting “come here and take me somewhere warm!”
It was very cold and windy, so windy we felt the wind was going to pull us off our feet and take us up into the sky. “Should we see what it is? We could hurt ourselves Jo hesitated.
“We must see what it is, no matter how high the dangers are,” I insisted, charging through the snowstorm, while Jo prodded along.
“Okay, okay, lady, have it your way!” He called after me, soon catching me up. I was determined to see what it was, no matter how bad the snowstorm was, or how high the risks were.
It was a struggle, but we eventually got there.
“It’s an egg,” said Jo, observing the glowing object. “But where’s the Mother?” He said, looking around. There was no sign of a Mother.
“Must have abandoned the egg,” I replied, scooping the egg off the snowy ground. “Come on, let’s take it home. I know what it's like to be abandoned. Poor thing must be freezing cold. We’ll look after it until it’s old enough to fend for itself,”
We set off in a hurry, the snowflakes continuing to fall down at a fast speed. I clutched the egg tightly, walking alongside Jo. I felt moving underneath its shell. There was definitely a baby dragon in there, and if not, something.
It was a long journey, but we eventually got back to the village. We stopped and panted in exhaustion, just in front of a wooden sign with “Schneesturm Village” imprinted in bold letters. Then all of a sudden, the glowing egg began to shake, a crack forming on the top.
“It’s hatching!” I cried in excitement. We ran to our cave, quickly placing the egg by the glowing fire. We sat down, eagerly watching the egg. I wondering what type of dragon it would be. I’ve never seen a glowing egg like that before.
The crack grew bigger and bigger, until the little head of a hatchling with sea blue scales launched its self from the eggshell, the top still remaining on its head. It had almost tiger-like, glowing stripes on its face, the same yellowy
glow of the egg. It giggled at us in a childish, high-pitched voice, little sparks of lightning coming from its jaw.
