For any who read Journey to the Center of the Purple, this is a remake. A dramatic change in the plot will be assured so that it will be more interesting now that I'm a better writer.

Shouldn't this have been called 'The Spytasic Voyage'? Or am I getting the wrong message?

I'm gonna try to give it a go soon, perhaps tomorrow. Constructive critisiscm is appreciated. I'm also going to change the title. The plot will be changed by a whole lot, so yeah. This is my first attempt at something humorous, yet sad, so bare with me. It won't just be about Spyro's friends going inside him. It will be more about Spyro himself. I have decided that the story will take place in a mixture between TLoS and the Original series.

Here's the prologue!



A dark, shadowy fortress stood atop a cliff far away on a floating island. The realm around it was shadowy, but yet light. It was within the Shadow Realm, yet still on the side of light. A worthy adversary had once fought there with a great evil. And that great evil was still there, thinking of a new plan to destroy the dragon realms.

The shadowy figure cloaked in black looked amongst his things in his central lair, pulling out manuscripts and blueprints for a strange project he was working on to destroy the dragons once and for all. Especially the one known as Spyro the Dragon.

The figure turned to the door, face clothed in shadows and opened his mouth. "Come in."

Through the doorway stepped three comrades. One was short with a purple cape on, a fancy suit, a horn protruding out of his head, and a medallion wrapped around his neck. Another was larger with green skin, golden armor, and a large, heavy mace. The last one was a blue crocodile with a crown upon her head and an egg-shaped staff in her palm.

"Welcome," said the shadowy figure, "To my lair. I have all called you here for a reason."

"And what is that?" spat the short one angrily. "Crush and Gulp, get in here!"

In came a large, blue, winged dinosaur with a club and a fat, green dinosaur with rockets strapped to his back.

"To destroy the purple dragon known as Spyro."

All five of the companions looked at the figure as if he was crazy. "Impossible! I already tried to destroy ever last dragon, and he still didn't give up! What makes you think he can't beat you?" asked the crocodile, fluttering her eyebrows.

"Because I have you," he said to the three, "And power of which you would never guess. I'm stronger than the three of you combined. I've had my difficulties with the Spyro in the past, but I have grown stronger. Plus, I have hatched a plan to destroy him and everyone else."

"Who are you anyway?!" growled the armored-figure, smashing his mace into the ground.

"You shall know soon enough," said the black-clothed figure. "Now... on to my plan."
