A Hole in the Pole
There is a gigantic hole
Destroying the North Pole.
The ice is disappearing;
The Arctic is clearing.
A hole fills within my soul.
Pollution started all of this,
It is destroying this icy abyss!
It's caused by poisonous gas
Which is destroying this beautiful landmass.
This is going out of control!
Just think about the Arctic's creatures
And its physical features.
Think of the endangered polar bear.
Their deaths aren't at all very fair.
They are very near to extinction.
The ozone layer is crumbling,
The planet's ice is tumbling.
So now I write a series of books
To express what mankind took.
Just look at this mess...
Now do you understand
The significance of this icy land?
We must stop this horrid chaos fast,
Or this once beautiful Arctic will never last...
