I noticed something. On the LoS: ANB soundtrack, there is a song called "Gondola" it plays on the boat in Tall Plains. You know, the sky boat that sinks as you battle the apes?

Anyways, if you listen to that song that plays during the battle, in the background, "Buzz's Dungeon" is actually playing, its cool.

I don't think that was done on purpose. Buzz's Dungeon sounded good but wasn't exactly really unique.

It should also be noted that it isn't BD being played in the backround; just the same strings sound.

I won't believe it until I've officially heard it from the actual game, I can't even remember the Buzz's Dungeon theme.

I love that theme! I need to see this now for myself.

When I seen this topic title, I thought it was gonna refer to the fact that ANB's opening is set during "The Year of the Dragon".

But yeah, I would check this out, except ANB's soundtrack is not on YouTube. However, I think I hear the similarity in my head. It wouldn't suprise me if it was intentional, however, it could easily be a coincidence, like how "Dreams of an Absolution" (Silver's theme song in Sonic 06) had a part that sounded really similar to Green Hill Zone's music in Sonic 1.

Actually, ANB is on youtube, posted by a "whitedragon101" I think. But the basic riff in BD plays in the background. Its kinda hard to hear without headphones and the volume cranked up.

No, I don't believe it's on their website. his name is spelled Gabriel by the way. Gabrielle is the feminine form of the name though.

They're both really similar, especially in certain parts of the song. I think maybe it was a coincidence. I feel like there's another song from one of the original game that's similar to it too, I just can't think of it

I dunno about coincidence, both the drums and the synth or whatever in Buzz Dungeon are there.

I never really listened that close to all of the ANB soundtrack, I think I should.

It isn't. The guy who posted the song posted the song "Swamp Hide n' Go Seek" and titled it "Ice King Boss".

Talk to shrazer about the OST. I downloaded it from MegaUploaded (virus-free, horray!) And had to open it with another program.

It is a ".RAR" file, you need to find a program to convert it, I used a trial version of "BitZipper"

I found that one, and figured it was the wrong one, then saw the comments.

It all seems so complicated D: I want it, but don't want to risk viruses :c

I have both and I have yet to catch a virus...maybe I can email the song to you? Via CAV or Brawler or somebody.

I might be able to email the MP3 Gondola also.

I have all three LoS OSTs on my Windows Media Library.

Or download the trial version of winRAR and just unzip it that way.


It doesn't have a virus because all you download is the musics, not a virus.

Both of the songs sound nothing like each other, I listened to them again.

Just that ANB's tune reminds me of Tomb Raider: Anniversary, and Buzz's Dungeon sounds awesome, well ANB was pretty good too.

I see what you mean but they really aren't much alike. Would've been a nice reference but I think any similarities are purely coincidental.
