this is my first pokemon ff, about when a young boy surfer turns into a pikachu and runs into all kinds of adventures. NO FLAMES! I am also working hard on this as a graphic novel.


CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

Atop of the high skyscraper Battlecry Tower, Darkrai watched as four pokemon had been battling for glory.

"And Hydreigon hits back with Dragon Rush!" said Sceptile, the announcer. "And what's this? Haxorus attacks back with DragonBreath! But Raticate's Dig hits Haxorus at the last moment! Oh, and Staraptor hits Raticate with Close Combat!"

It began to thunderstorm. "Sorry folks!" said Sceptile. "Looks like we'll continue this tommorow!"

"Darkrai," said a voice. It was Lugia. "It has been many years."
Darkrai looked up. "It's a sign."
"What, the thunderclouds?" asked Lugia. "It's why those pokemon are smart." He looked at the pokemon heading inside the tower.
"The chosen one..." said Darkrai.
"It is not right." said Lugia. "Arceus has not been seen for millenia."
"I am not talking about Arceus." replied Darkrai.
"Wait..." said Lugia. "Are you talking about the otherworlder?"

"Yes.." said Darkrai.

"He will save this world..."

CHAPTER 2: WHER AM I? (PT.1 OF 2)

"Are you alright?" asked Mudkip.

"Woozah..." said the stranger.

"So, you OK?" asked Kricketot.

the stranger jumped. "Did that Pokemon just talk?" asked the stranger.

"Yeah,and a Pikachu just talked!" Exclaimed Mudkip.

"WHAT?!?!?!"


The stranger was actually a Pikachu!

CHAPTER 2: WHERE AM I? (PT.2 OF 2)

It's true, Pikachu thought, I've turned into a PIKACHU! But... I'm human! Why can't i remember anything? My life, my name...

Suddenly something hit Pikachu. It was something like a Water Gun attack.

"YO!" Mudkip said. "Are you ok?"

"Oh, yeah." said Pikachu. Might as well play along for... Then Pikachu remembered something. Now I remember my name... It's Soul! And i can surf! Strange... That's all i can remember. Wait... Where's my surfboard?

"Could you at least tell us your name?" said Kricketot. He handed Soul the surfboard. "This was with you when we found you." Soul took the board and put it behind his back for it to stay.

"I'm Soul." he said. He looked at himself. "Soul the... Pikachu!"

"Cool." said the Mudkip. "I'm Mudkip, this is Kricketot. You must not be from around here. Wanna hang at our place?"

Guess i should go with them until i figure something out here. I have to figure out how i became a Pikachu!

"I'd love that. Thanks!" said Soul.

CHAPTER 3: A CLOSE CALL! (PT.1 OF 2)

"Welcome to the Mudkip and Kricketot paradise!" said Mudkip as the friends walked in.

It actually looked like an ordinary human house:There was a stove and microwave, a tv in the back, and a pretty big dinner table.

"So, this is your place?" Soul asked.

"Yush, This is where we usually hang." said Mudkip. "We live in a quiet neighborhood. Across the street lives a girl named Oshawott..."

"Who Mudkip has a crush on." Kricketot pointed out.

Mudkip turned red and pretended to not hear him. "Along with Oshawott is her older brother Dewott, and they both so happen to be on a rescue team!"

"A rescue team?" Soul asked.

"Save the questions til' we're done." said Kricketot. "Our other neighbor Timburr usually gives us our mail since Pelliper don't usuallycome around here."

"Next to Oshawott and Dewott's house is a vacant house nobody's bought yet." said Mudkip."But we are expecting a newcomer there next week. And finally, Luxio, a traveler, lives next to Timburr's house and usually keeps us updated about the big city."

"Now, you had questions?" said Kricketot.

"Yes." said Soul. "Question 1: what's a rescue team?"

Mudkip gave an answer. "Rescue team is the preferable name for a team who saves Pokemon! They travel around the world to save Pokemon in need, Pokemon who need help saving someone, escorting a Pokemon, And all kinds of stuff!"

"Question 2: What is the big city?" asked Soul.

"Apple City." said Kricketot." They say that city holds all the world's foods, drinks, etc. Most rescue teams get their rescue missions there!"

"Last question:" said Soul, "Is it me, or do you hear someonecalling for help?"

Everyone stayed quiet, Until they heard someone yell for help.

"Let's go see what's going on!" said Soul.

"But we're not a rescue team!" Kricketot and Mudkip said.

"Rescue team or not, we have to help them! Plus, I saw the dreamy looks you guys had when you described a rescue team! Now let's go!"
