Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! is my favorite.

My favorite game is actually a game that's fairly hated here. I liked DotD because of the free-roam, the flight, and the multi-player option. I do think that they should have kept Cynders voice from TEN but I thought it looked amazing. The only thing I absolutely hated about DotD was the camera angle. other than that I love it.

Cannot decide.

It's a bit of a hard choice for me between the very first Spyro game and Ripto's Rage. I've played StD more than any other game and it's one of a very few games which I have memorized. RR, however, has several characters and story bits I love, as well as levels. It's almost a tie between the two, but the original StD might come out on top.

My favorite is DotD.

I like the graphics, the soundtrack, the free-roaming, multiplayer (even if it was crappy. I praise Acti for trying), the Battle of Warfang ( FTW! ), The Valley of Avalar (FTW!), Flight, VA could have improved (David Spade as Sparx, Mae Whitman as Cynder), the interactive cutscenes, armor, fact that ALL breaths are available from the start, new enemies, no endless battles to do something, hell I even like Spyro and Cynder's designs.

I liked DotD, only for the fact that I could mess around and not get into trouble. ...till the game crashed...
Though the camera and plot could use some work. The designs were tolerable-ish.

my faforit is ripto´s rage second is year of the dragon and 3 is spyro the dragon =)

Good soudtracks and voices the graphics are the best still playing it now

Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer, in my personal opinion, I think that it has the best cutscenes, and are the most funniest and it has an ending that makes sense from all the others, where it's not too crazy or corny, I love all the levels, characters, and MOST of the challenges, there's probably only one or two I dislike. Overall, I just love this game. It's also my first ever Spyro game I played, apart from the demo of Spyro the Dragon.

ANB (DS, haven't played console).

Even for a DS Game, the graphics were quite nice (Better then TEN). I loved beating the hell out of monkeys and various other animals, and the bosses were fuuuuuuuuun!

Plus the cheats were pretty awesome too. In DS, if you get 60 Shards, you can play as young Cynder (Cynder vs Cynder, ftw!!). Except in the cutscenes and when you are talking is still Spyro.

TEN,STD and DOTD.

Spyro 2 and DotD....I also have fond memories of AHT, but it's been too long since I played it to have a definitive opinion.

I just have this weird attraction to Spyro 2, I don't know why...

Kind of the same with DotD, but I also just love the feel of it. Could of used some polish, but I still love it to bits...

The original Spyro. I have a lot of really wacky history with it... and I mean wacky.

I'd probably say Dawn of the dragon.
The Levels and music are simply magical. The storyline is equally touching. Just an all round class game.

I'd say the second one was my favourite. It was nice to get a new voice for Spyro. ^-^IMO, it was before the series started to get redundant.

my is spyro 1 cuz the music is awesome and it bring back a lot of memorys and I only play that cuz of the levels and finding dragons

Either Year of the Dragon or Dawn of the Dragon. They're both really awesome. :3

Spyro 1. I love This Because it was the Creation of Spyro.

The Story, Gameplay, Characters, the dragons, the worlds, the music, everything was just perfect

+ This was my first ever game on ps1 so it makes it xtra special

It's a tie between Ripto's Rage and Year of the Dragon. I liked the characters and stories in both games so much, and they both improved greatly on the gameplay from Spyro the Dragon, which was already great. Ungh...can't choose...D:

My favorite of the LoS trilogy is actually Dawn of the Dragon. Yes, it has problems. But honestly? I thought the gameplay was a HUGE step up from the repetition of the first two games. Also, no more falling to your death in bottomless pits, even though it's ALREADY BEEN ESTABLISHED THAT YOU CAN FLY. X(

I agree with Summers94. Though it wasn't my first Spyro game, YoTD actually was. They both hold special memories to me. I remember- I only had YoTD and some of the handheld games, and I was begging them to get a copy of Spyro 1 because of playing the demo on Warped! GTG is not so special, but has some things that are only in it I like. Like Fracture Hills. :>

Not a specific game the LoS trilogy for me (though I havn't played many of the original but have watched most cutscenes ).
I havn't got DotD yet....

StD, GtG and YotD.
Mainly because these are the games I grew up with.

Year of the Dragon - I grew up with it! I love finding all of the eggs and watching them hatch, I loe the soundtrack, I love the levels, I loe to explore the game, everything.

A Hero's Tail - I love Spyro's design & voice actor. I loed the characters, the worlds, the graphics.. And the memories I hae of playing this game.

Dawn of the Dragon - I all around love it. I love the soundtrack, I love the graphics, the free roam, the co-op, the free flight, the beautiful scenary, the cutscenes, even the plot. Yeah, there were mistakes in the game, but I love it.

I can't really say since I've only played a few spyro games, but i'd say DotD because well, at least for the Wii version, it had pretty decent graphics, an okay plot, and the battling wasn't that bad.

Spyro the Dragon is my favourite because I love the simplicity, and it is so nostalgic, this isn't my first game I played, Spyro 2 was the first.

I prefer minor details to this game than any other, the shape of the gems, the extra lives that look like dragon statues instead of a purple butterfly, freeing the dragons is fun, I like listening to their weird, random speeches.

There are no annoying challenges to earn a dragon egg, you just chase the theif down and it's yours, simple and fun.

I find that the flight levels are just right too, not too hard, but then again not too easy, but I've found it like this in all Spyro games I've played, so that's a plus side for all that have speedways.

Obviously, a bad thing, could be that the graphics are out dated by years, and there is no real storyline to the game, you also don't get many interesting cutscenes. You also don't have the ablilty to swim, headbash and climb, also power of flight within an ordinary level, and such.

I agree with the latter but my favourite has got to be A Hero's Tale. Why? Well, you can look like Ember or Flame, you get introduced to these new characters briefly, Spyro looks and walks really cutely in the game, you can do things with Hunter and stuff, the boss battles are cool, music, graphics and gameplay are good and the atmosphere is just really good in general. I just like everything about it, I always love just wandering about that dragon elder's house (you know the tree thing) in the swamp.

What do you mean? I find snakes and rats cute so I find just about every dragon cute in it's own way, it's just Spyro was absolutely adorable in A Hero's Tale xD.
