Chapter 1
It was dark there. I could hardly see anything. I thought I'm in hell, but then I heard something, or someone, calling my name
"Spyro...Spyro...open your eyes. Wake up."
It was Cynder. She was black so I could not see her properly in the dark, but I recognized her voice.
"Cynder? You're alive? What happened? Where are we?"
I asked with a shock.
"I...I don't know. I can't see anything."
Then the light came up. And I saw that we're in a kind of a piece of ground over a sea of hot red lava.
"Who are they?" Cynder asked.
Then I looked behind and I saw a bunch of little grumlins.
"I don't really want to find out. Come on. Let's get out of here!" I said.
I walked a couple of steps forward and then I felt as something was strangling me. We were attached to a platform in the middle of the ground by a green magical chain.
"What is this?!" Cynder shouted.
Then when we were trying to brake the platform that was holding us down, this massive lava monster. It was mostly made out of rock and lava, but there were crystals sticking out of it too. I never seen them before, but I knew they're connected to evil.
As we finally destroyed the platform, the monster tried to attack us. Cinder went left, but I went the other way and the chain brought us in the middle again. We nearly got squashed by the monster, but luckily we flew away.
"This chain is slowing us down. We can't fight with it. We'll have to move in unison. Follow my lead!" I said with a serious voice.
"And, what is the reason for you to lead?!" Cynder asked. She was quite annoyed with me.
Then I saw that the moster's hand was shooting at us so I quickly flew to the side, dragging Cynder behind me.
"Okay. You lead then." She said.
Then something shot the monster in the eye. It tried to hit us again, but it seemed like we were too quick for it.
We saw a kind of a way out and then I saw a yellow, glowing something flying towards us.
"Hey! Spyro, man you're alive!"
Sparx! How did he get in here? How did he even survive? I did not even remember anything how did me and Cynder get here.
Sparx is my brother. His parents found me as an egg and we both were born the same day. I was raised on a swamp.
"Sparx! How did you get here? Anyway, how did WE get here?"
I asked.
"I dunno. But I woke up in some kind of a furry bed, but then I realized that it wasn't a bed... but a hand... or a paw... of a cheetah." Sparx explained.
"What? A cheetah? You mean that one up there? Who is he anyway?" Cynder asked.
"The only thing he said was "Shut up! Or the grumlins will hear us!". He's a strict kitty!"
Its nearly the same as the original but I changed it a bit.
Chapter 2
"Spyro, Cynder, are you both allright?" The cheetah asked us.
"Yes, we're okay." Cynder answered. She was quite annoyed. She didn't like strangers.
"I've been looking for you for over three years. But now its too late." He said sadly.
"Three years?! What happened?! And its too late for what?!" Yeah, Cynder was annoyed, and angry.
"Three years ago you three were stuck I a volcano, so Spyro had to freeze you so that you didn't get squashed by the collapsing cone of rock. Malefor had a lot of time to destroy nearly everything. Only ruins are left. I should have done better on finding you." The cheetah explained to us.
"Well that's clever isn't it?" Cynder said with sarcasm.
"Cynder!" Now I got annoyed with her. How could she treat someone who saved us like this?!
"Anyway, my name is Hunter." Hunter said, comepletely ignoring Cynder's comment.
Chapter 3
We went through a very long cave. When we finally got out, the sun was shining that my and Cynder’s scales were shiny and beautiful. For one minute I thought I saw a bluey-white thing walking on the grass.
“Hey, guys! Can you see that?” I asked.
“For your information I’m not a guy! I’m female and the only one in existence!” Cynder shouted at me. I think she needs to sleep more.
“Spyro’s right. Something’s coming towards us” Hunter said.
We waited for the mysterious thing to come up to us.
“Hello. Are you lost?” The dragon said. I just realized that she’s female. She was pale blue with some bits of blue. She was beautiful. Then I thought that she’s the reverse of Cynder: nice and white.
“Only one in existence?” I said to Cynder. And Cynder growled back at me.
“Well, no we’re not lost but we’re trying to find a shelter.” I explained to her.
“Oh. A shelter. Come with me.” I followed her but Cynder wasn’t so sure and pulled me back by my tail.
“What are you doing?! You don’t even know her! How can you be sure that she doesn’t want to kill you or something!” Cynder whispered to me.
“She doesn’t look evil. She looks more like you in the reverse.” I said to Cynder. WHAT DID YOU SAY THAT FOR! Honestly! Sometimes I let out words that were meant to stay inside my head! And then she hit me in the face.
Chapter 4
The dragon lead us to a tunnel under a tree. She was the size of me and Cynder so we could easily fit through the tunnel, but Hunter found it difficult to squeeze through the tiny tunnel.
“Uh oh. I’m stuck! Hey! Can anyone help me?! Hunter shouted.
“And I thought that cats can fit through any hole.” Sparx said to himself.
Well now we have a problem. Hunter was stuck, and if he was blocking the way we couldn’t get out too!
“Great! Tell me how are we going to get out now.” Cynder shouted at Hunter.
“We can just dig him out.” The dragon said.
“That should work.” I said.
After we’ve finished digging Hunter out, we needed a lot of rest. We had to walk a long way to the Dragon City. We would fly but Hunter’s too heavy to carry him all the way to the city.
“I’m Spyro. And this is Cynder, Hunter and Sparx.”
“My name’s Zero.” Zero said. First I thought it was a strange name, but later I started to like it.
“Zero, we’ve got one question…” I said to Zero.
“Why’s your name Zero?” Cynder said to Zero. I think Cynder was a bit too harsh. What did Zero do to her that she had to be so mean?
“No… I wanted to ask if you know a shortcut to the Dragon City.” I said.
“The Dragon City! I never heard of this place.” Zero said.
“Oh. Well we’ll have to go the longer way.”
“Can I come with you? Please! I don’t want to live here anymore!”
“Ummm… Hunter.” I had not got a clue what to say.
“I don’t know. The moles propably will want to have a dragon in their city. You can come with us if you want.” Hunter explained.
“Thank you. Thank you very much.” Zero was happy that we let her go with us, but we could not guarantee that she could live in Dragon City.
