^I know a lot of people don't seem to follow the rules at all they just make up their own and it does get annoying after they do it for a while. Look at my siggy it is pretty clear to follow the rules.

I was thinking something like once you click on the 'Forum' page you see in massive font 'OBEY THE RULES!!!'. That oughta attract attention.

Maybe a newbie's guide?

Early every Sunday morning (about 01:00 GMT) gems are given out. To get any gems you'll have to at least have visited the site during the week beforehand. You automatically get 7 gems if you do and if you posted at all during that week you get an additional 3 gems. Then you get a completely random amount between 0 and 6 extra gems to spice things up. So the maximum you can get in one week is 16.
