I hear that this game is soooo cool!!! My parents won't let me get a DS. Anyone else with this problem?

well... i have a DS and this game but the game sucks... trust me...it sucks big time! i'd give the rating of 2 on 5.

its not that bad! although i have to admit the games on PS2 are alot better.

yeah, nitendogs is a fun game...until i got a real dog and the game was sorta...worthless to me now

The DS Lite is the best one to get. It's got more light!! Plus... you can get DS Lite bundle packs! As for Shadow Legacy. It's a really short game. I wouldn't bother with it. The bosses are super easy, and it only takes about 1-3 hours!

IMO this game is pretty lame... But c'mon, it's Spyro! You'll love it anyway.

The reason I think it's lame is because of the movement and general gameplay. BUT it has beautifulgraphics- it looks like you are playing in a giant painting! Seriously there are mnay good things about this game, but just in my own (lame) little opinion I think it's pretty annoying/boring to play after a while. It's a little glitchy in places also- you end up getting stuck in some spots.

OK I've heard about that.... But when I DO get a Nintendo DS Lite (either coral pink or polar white, but hopefully pink) the first game I'm gunna get is Nintendogs. BUT WHICH NINTENDOGS SHOULD I GET?!?!

Do you not know which starter breeds you want? Each game has a different set of dogs that you cna have. Eventually you can unlock all the breeds for each game no matter which version you have, but it takes a long time, so here are the breeds you get to start off with:

Labrador version:
Labrador retriever
Pembroke Welsh Corgi
Toy Poodle
Miniature Pinscher
Miniature Schnauzer
Shiba Inu

Dachshund version:
Dachshund
Beagle
Siberian Husky
Pug
Shih Tsu
Golden Retriever

Chihuahua version:
Chihuahua
German Shepherd
Boxer
Cavalier King Spaniel
Yorskshire Terrier
Shetland Sheepdog

AND the latest version of Nintendogs has this:

Dalmation version:

The Dalmation version has something special about it... I can't remember... I think you can connect to see other dogs online or something.
Also in the other games, the dalmation is a secret dog which is hard to unlock. But in this game you can have it to start off with.

Anyway yeah, those are your choices. I have the Daschund version because they have all the cute breeds to start off with. : )

i have the labrador version... basically i think theyre all the same but different dogs on the game!

i've got the dachund version but i wish there was one out with: border collies,rotwilers,german shepherds and grey hounds on!(they are my 4 fave dogs!)

i got the game with my fav dogs on, huskies and labradors so im happy with my nintendogs!

I got the chihuahua version of nitendogs and the chihuauas are SOOO cute! So does the yorkshire terriers!!

The grafix look like AHT's only with 2-D backgrounds
