Same happened to my YOTD and I can't figure out how to get a replacement. I also broke my first copy STD but luckily the local generic store still had a few copies left.

Oh, no, WINDEX!!! You used WINDEX?!? On a CD!!!

No wonder why it cracked. Why? Windex is ammonia based and weakens the disc. Also, don't use Windex on your LCD monitor. LCD monitor can become brittle and break with Windex.

The reason it's called "Windex" because it's for "Windows" only. smilie

I reccomend using water & a cloth or something, like just a damp cloth. Even better, get some special CD CLEANER or whetever it is, its MADE 4 CD's & WORKS!!! LOL!!!

Although I don't think I've ever really cleaned any of my Spyro games.... my dad and I still have the original disk we bought back in '98 when I was 3 and it doesn't really have any scratches on it and it works like a charm smilie Same with RR & YOTD smilie

Here's to ur new STD disk! lol smilie Ah, Insomniac....... those were the good days.....

Ahh! There's a bottle of Windex sitting next to me! Maybe I should drink it before it destroys my video games...

Well at least now I know not to use Windex ahead of time, but I usually just use a soft cloth to clean my games off.
