CH. V

"What?! What the hell?! Why another test!?" I hissed harshly, my claws soming out. Dr.Amines looked at my forearms,"...That is not supposed to happen.....come with me NOW." He hissed at me with the same tone. My upper lip and right eye twitched,....you bastard..... I thought relaxing my hands.

I followed the scientist to the test lab,"Why am I here?" I asked. Doc shook his head,"No big deal...." he said, pausing to type in his ID," You will see in the next fight......" he said after a three minute silence. Walking into the examine room, I sat on the table while Amines got a needle with a black liquid in it," This should make you alot stronger........" he said, but he mumbled,"...and some other things as well....." He walked back over to me and shot the stuff into my arm. Instantly my head began to throb so intensely, I passed out.

When I woke up, Zarath's face was two inches from mine,"HAI!" He smiled. I glared at him," Never. Do. That. Again. EVER." I growled,"Wait a moment, Are we in a new cell?" I instantly changed subjects; Zarath nodded,"Sure do, we also got a new cellmate when the gaurds brought new competors in." He moved out of my line of sight. It took me a moment to think, but i couldn't.

"Maxiii! Oh my god! It's accually you!" She shouted,tackling me in a hug,"Kara! But how? How did they find you?! Of all people!" I relized and asked. She leaned her head on my shoulder,tears rolling down her cheeks,"T-they just found me...." she was shaking with every word. I rubbed her shoulder,trying to calm her,"It's okay, I'm here now Kara, that what really matters." I said to her calmly. Zarath looked at me,"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?" He asked. I shook my head,I'll tell you later, I swear. I mouthed to him slowly. He nodded,"Kara, you should really get some sleep,mkay?" I whispered in her ear, but she was already asleep. I weaseled out from under her, and put a blanket over her. She immeditatly curled up in it. I stood by Zarath,"How do you know her?" He whipered quietly.

"I grew up with her, she lived right next to me, and my dad watched us." I admitted. Zarath nodded," And what planet are you from?" He asked for the first time. I shifted my weight," I'm from this place called Nuue Eratith." I said,linking my hands behind my head. He nodded again,"So, Why haven't you ever told me about your home,family, and friends?" He was curious.

"Truth be told, I really was anti social, and people stayed away from me...." I shrugged. Zarath blinked," Really man?" He asked, I nodded,"Yep." Zarath blinked again trying to register what I was explaining," Then why is the scientists so amazed by you?"

"No effin clue man. Not the slightest idea......"

I Have it wrote, but don't want to type.....

CH. VI

The donators setted uo a fight that was a two on two fight. Me and Zarath against Seth and Eron. Kara looked at us both," Be careful, Zarath. That goes for you too Maxi." She siad. Oh gee, thanks Kara....that's really helpful.... I sourly thought. She kissed Zarath on the cheek and gave me a glare. Three gaurds came for me and Zarath,"Come on you two. We don't want to make the crowd wait...for a mauling..." one of them snorted in laughter.

It was a ten minute trip to the arena and the crowd was screaming and cheering in amazement of Seth and Eron. Zarath changed, and he was a copy of myself. But something was up, There was more cheering, as two more of Seth and Eron's kind showed up. sh-- I cursed in my mind. Zarath looked at me," Dude, they lied to us! It's a handicap match!" He shouted.

"I know Zarath, Give me a minute to think of a plan!!!" I snapped harshly. The four behemoths finnaly noticed us. They began to surround us coming from each direction,"Maxi, HURRY THE **** UP!" He yelled, like I already wasn't trying. The arena became black as night, and the tens of thousands of audience members began to scream in terror. I could see each of the behemoths' heat signatures,This is gonna be one hell of a fight, I laughing in my mind. I slowly moved away from Zarath, and then went for Seth.
