Prolouge

As a kid growing up without my mom, life was pretty decent. But recently something happened,a really bad something.These people came looking for something, but these people weren't normal. They were from this intergalatic show.It was a normal evening, Dad was working on something for work and I was writing a essay for my literature class. Well, I heard Dad yell something and then his scream. I instantly dropped my pen and went for my pocket knife. It was silent, and it was making my blood churn and my stomach do flips. It was about 9:30pm and I heard a THUMP. Whirling around, I saw something awful and it scared me. All of a sudden, everything went black,and then it went blank.

It's a dude,there shall be a girl too.

It’s been three long years since the incident, and everything has changed for the worst. They call me a punk and other names in a language I can’t understand. I mean, my hair is a bit spiked, but it’s naturally. These THINGS killed my dad, and did something to me. I have no clue what they did, but they’re planning something. Since I’ve been here, I’ve met an extra terrestrial named Karris, and over the years he showed me how to survive in this god forsaken place. Back when I first came here, it wasn’t pretty. I was shoved into the reigning champion, Harleys. No, not like the motorcycle, it’s Har-elis. He was a gruesome one, and he was twice my size….really scarred the crap out of me. He looked down at me, and swung his fist at me. I was expecting to be killed, but when I opened my left eye, Karris was holding back Harleys’s fist with two large swords. I was shaking in my Vans. Holy freaking crap, rang in my seventeen year old mind.

There was a gruesome, bloody fight today and it was between Karris and #5. The guards show us the fight on the giant screens that are in almost every cell ward. I was watching it with a couple of the others. Karris was blocking #5’s attacks but the fight’s donators released the ‘hounds’… These aren’t normal dogs; they’re something like you would see in a Sci-Fi movie.

Sheesh, keep your pants on...... I'm havain a writer's block problem, and I'm kinda busy with Crisis Core......... And my life is kinda way offffff...............I'm still trying to think.

CH.II(continued)

....Three of them...There was three....all of them went after Karris.....in a couple of minutes....they mauled Karris,".....no....." I echoed quietly. #5 took this as an advantage, he went towards Karris, and the screen went all black. My face grew pale, according to Zarath.

"Maxi? Maxi, you okay man?" He asked me, waving his hands infront of my face.

"Y-yeah......I-I'm fine......" I stuttered out, turning away from the cell door. Zarath can pick his cell door lock and get into my cell. I sat down on my bed,putting my head in my hands and pulled my hair out of my face. After a couple of moments, I felt Zarath's claws on my shoulder,"It'll get better man, I know........" He whispered. In my mind, I blamed myself; I was originally supposed to fight #5, but I was really sick. They had tested on me,putting somehing in my bloodstream......Head throbbing, i leaned back onto the bed,closing my eyes.

"Dude? Maxxxxxxxiiiiii? You okay?" Zarath asked poking my ribs," Your chest isn't moving!" He shouted. I opened my right eye, and Zarath freaked out," DUDE! DON'T DO THA- Wait, did your eyes just go from blue to silver?" he changed the subject extremely fast.

"No clue....." I mumbled. Zarath has this amazing ability to change shapes, and mimic people. He looked at me and in a moment's notice, he was me. I looked at him, and his,or MY, eyes were silver," What the ****in' hell did they do to me?!" I bolted up,shouting.

Zarath watched my health for the next three days, always making sure I wasn't going starve myself. Today the donators set me up for a new fight, they call him 'Erith the Destroyer'. Zarath looked at me before I headed towards the arena.

"Maxi relax, It's gonna be alright. You just need to focus on this fight.....if you win, you'll be able to rest for a few days or so...." He said, trying to smile. I smiled,lightly chuckling,"Yeah, I guess man...." Zarath made a small chattering noise, which I guess is how they laugh on his planet. "Smooth move," we both got a laugh out that one.

The gaurds looked at us,"Get your ass over here,punk." His voice chilled over with hate. Zarath looked over at me, and by the way he was acting, he knew something was about to happen. I followed the gaurds to the weapon room, and on the way there, we saw Erith. He was huge, larger than a elephant. He looked over at me, and the hall shook with his bellowing laughter,"I'm fighting THAT?! BWAHAAHAAA!!!" he broke out into laughter again. Clenching my fists and jaw, I continued to follow my escort of guards.

What? It's good right?

Ok......? Ok......DX DAMN IT, I LOST MY NOTEBOOK.

Edit: Found it....

We got in the weapon room, and DAMN there was ALOT of freaking knives,swords,plasma guns, and more. The guards shoved me into the room and i fell to my knees. The main guard laughed to his friend," He issssssn't going to lasssssst thirty secondsssss with Erith," he said, sounding like a snake. Getting back to my feet, I looked around,Ho-lyyy Crap.... I thought, walking around the room. Quickly,I chose several things, a pair of claw gauntlets, six throwing knives, and a plasma rifle. Hopefully, I could beat this one...... I was thinking desperately. Quietly, I put the gauntlets on and latched them up. The guards walked back in, and took me to the arena.


The noise and the cheering was loud, and standing in the center of the arena was Erith, getting his ego stroked by the fans and commentators. Again, i was shoved by the guards into the arena. Erith turned towards me and he was laughing again. I felt my face grow red, and the commentator shouted,"LET THE FIGHT COMMENCE!" The crowd went wild with cheering and screaming. Erith swung his axe around and headed towards my direction.

CRAP CRAP CRAP..... I thought desperatly,constantly dodging slashes from Erith. It's had only been five minutes, and he already gotten seven hits on me. Blood was covering my face, matting my hair. I touched my hair and pulled my hand back to see if I was bleeding still. Silver. Silver blood.....that ISN'T normal! Erith smiled when he saw I was distracted. He swung his hand and knocked me Into the energy fence, which was highly electrified. I screamed in pain, falling to my knees. Erith walked over towards me,watching me shudder in pain.

"I knew I was going to win this fight, It was too easy....." He gloated. Blood dripping from my face, I tried to get back up,"Not anymore....." I managed. Mutation and all this other sh&^ better help me, I growled to myself. " Not ANYMORE!!!!!" I shouted, but at the end,it sounded like a sonic boom. Erith struggled against it, but he was thrown back into the other side of the arena, hitting the fence.

Smiling evilly, i walked over towards him laughing to myself, and pulling out three of the knives...."Looks like the tides have turned, Erith....." I growled,before stabbing him in the back of the neck with all three knives.

Zarath tackled me when he saw me. "Maxi!!" he shouted,picking me up in a hug. I winced alot,"Zarath.Youre hurtimg me." I said fomdly and harshly at the same time.

Zarath let me down," You did it, man! You beat Erith!" he shouted. I nodded and headed towards our cell covered in blood and dust; Zarath followed me at a distance. I sat down the throwing knives and rifle, but didn't bother to take the gauntlets off. I crashed onto one of the beds and sighed. Zarath sat on the other bed," Dude,once you got knocked into the barrier, you went like kick ass, you did like a screech and BAM! You knocked Erith across the arena!" He said, moving his hands as he talked.

"Really now?" I asked,somewhat amused. Zarath nodded,"Maxi? Look at your arms and hands...." He said. I sat up and looked at my arms. The gauntlets were fusing into my skin,"Motha' Effer!" I shouted, huffing. I tried to calm dowm, but hell, it didn't work.

"Maxi. Relax your hand, unclench your fist. I wanna see something." He murmered. Doing what he said, i relaxed; the claws retracted into my knuckles. Zarath bursted out laughing," D-dude! Your face!" He laughed. I tried to remain calm,"Zarath, It's not funny. They screwed with my DNA." I said," Is it me, or did it just get cold?" I asked. Zarath shrugged," It's you." Right before i could get sarcastic, two gaurds showed up. "Punk, come with us. Doc wants to see you." The main guy said.

"Why?" I growled, but I knew why. I got to my feet and followed behind them. It took about five minutes to get down to the lab. The glass door slid open and I walked in.

"Thank you Sark, that will be all. I can handle from here." I heard somebody say from the Shadows,"Maxi, I see your mutations are coming along just fine; Today I will have you do a test of agility and strength. Then, give you a new dose." he said,"Oh. I forgot, I am Dr. Amines."

\\ YAY! I shall write some more tomorrow

Currently, I have the next two chapters written on paper. I am trying to draw what the arena looks like, but I have no idea the perseptive is going to be...>.<

Yeah, just the fifth chapter took up three pieces of paper, front&back, so AYAYAYA!
