I think there should be a accout limit if you haven't visited your account for 2 years (atleast) then your account would be deleted/ripto'd.

Because many accounts that joined in 2006/2007 (mostly 2006) have never logged on since.

And many of the first accounts have never been visited.

Yeah. It should be if you created an account, and hasn't logged on atleast 3 weeks, it should be deleted.

Some people aren't accessible to their internet for a while, or leave for a while then come back. So 3 weeks is pretty sort. Maybe a month or two?

I'm not sure if this would work...
I mean, you really get Ripto'd if you've done something wrong.
Maybe something like your account going into hibernation until you return and activate your account again...

A lot of sites like to keep all the accounts they get, even if that account hasn't been used in years or has never been posted in. There's always a small chance that the owner of the account will remember the site and come back, and on some sites search engines can lead to someone's profile, which could lead to someone new finding the site.

I don't go on very often so it's a bad idea to have a limit to how long you can be gone, permanently banned peoples accounts being deleted is a good idea though, the account doesn't do much except from hang around... what would happen to their posts though?
