Eragon fan-story. Pretty obvious.
It has been 469 years since King Galbatorix's dark reign over Alagaësia ended. But the new age of Dragon Riders hasn't lasted long, for something is mysteriously killing them off. A dragon, or at least a dragon-like creature, had been sighted all over the land.
Within a year, the Dragon Riders were once again extinct. Except for four eggs. One of Earth, one of Lightning, one of Fire, and one of Ice, each scattered around the land. Who will become their riders?

Chapter 1: The Problem with Thieving
Lily darted through the trees within the Spine. It as often very cold, but at least she has the privacy she needed. And provided Lily with hiding places when she stole stuff from, well, other people. "Hey! Come back here!" an angry voice echoed from the distance. "Bring me back my new clothes!" She won't find me. Lily thought. I've needed new clothes for a while. And these a brand new! Happy days! "Come back!" the voice as even fainter. Lily sighed. She was different. Much faster then any other human girl, her ears were pointed, and her facial features were slightly angled. Ah well. I don't think I'm human anyway, they smell bad. I'll need to wash these in the river before I wear them, get rid of the smell. Lily leapt over the river, and put down the shorts and leggings she took. She lay down in the moss and grass, a tiny bit puffed from all the running and excitement. "Ah..." she sighed, closing her eyes. "I need to find my own stuff. I think this is the 50th time or something that I've done this." And Lily fell asleep, from both exhaustion and lack of sleep. |

Yeah, but when you hear what happens to Eragon's mom,you will start to understand more about the first book.

Right, I've finished the book now. Eagerly awaiting Book 4.
I'll do the next chapter soon, writers block right now. And I'm also thinking of changing the dragon's name... |
