Fan Fiction Question [CLOSED]

I know I should of asked this before I started writing, and I don't want to sound stupid, but are there any rules on graphic content in fanfics???

What I mean by that is fighting, violence, and possibly blood.

I hope I don't sound like a total idiot, but I really need to know. Can anyone help me???

I'm sure not. I've heard of fan fictions with sexual content, and I've even seen one that has [censored] swearing. Just don't go over the top and I'm sure it'll be fine.

Last I checked, the only limitations are the ones you put on yourself. You can have sexual content, violence/gore and swearing. Just put a warning about it.

Unless you are at a site that has rules against that kind of stuff. Then you have to follow them. smilie

I continued reading and found that the writer is a bit on the lazy side about dragons, and that they have a very bad spelling isue(most of them are missing letters, or added letters that dont fit)-and-that they put in a part of Left 4 Dead 2, Elis said: Nick, YOU SHOT THE PILOT!=Nick: Well, he wasn't doing a very good job… especially after he turned into a zombie,If I'm going to be the one to pick the low point of the flight, I'll say it's when the pilot stopped flying the plane and attacked us=exept that in the game, it was a helicopter and he landed first

You dont need to worry about that!

I have read tones of stories on fan fic and there is always swearing and blood!

I've read Spyro fanfics on dA that had extremely erotic sex scenes between Spyro and Cynder. Just put a warning on anything with mature content.

If you are posting it here in the Fan Fiction section, you would have to ask dark52 how strict he is about mature content, and how explicit it's allowed to be.
