Why does SPARX have health [CLOSED]

It confuses me how in the classic games sparx has health. If someone punches Spyro, sparx loses health. It DOES SNOT COMPUTE!

Because, the Dragons and Dragonflies connect their health in order to make fighting more convenient just like in Eregon with the human-dragon connection. Insomniac predicted this connection and put in their game before Eregon was even thought of.

In Classic, Sparx takes all the hits for Spyro because he's so weak.

In LoS, Spyro takes all the damages and Sparx just floats around craking jokes.

It's kinda like payback. Sparx got tired of being pushed around and instead makes fun of Spyro while he gets beat up.

Classic Spyro isn't weak. Sparx is just the health meter. I think it's clever, not the boring bar.

Yep, same here. Sparx is an interesting health bar, like the suit of Isaac Clark's showing his health level. No more boring health bars in HUD!

I liked the fact that Sparx was a health indicator, made it more interesting. Even though I did used to question it, and I could never understand why or how Sparx could take damage, but then again the storylines in the Classic games weren't all that great anyway, but it never bothered me that much because of how fun the games are. Really, it's just a game, you shouldn't use too much logic into it.

What CAV said was a joke. Sure it's clever, and it's a cool idea, but if you take away that part, Spyro the hero relying on ali'l bug? smilie Just a joke..
