prolouge:
Shan a young bat with her friend Bathan were hunting until a rebellion of owls attack them luckily Neon the youngest bat thats able to hunt sees them and alerts Shan's mother who had been hunting nearby.

ok then i will start

chapter 1 : Blood on stone
'wake up..' Shan opened her eyes to see Bathan staring down at her in dissmay.
'Bathan whats wrong?' Her friend pointed at her.
Shan shreaked in shock at the sight of only having half a left wing.

Neon tried to catch up with Shan's mother but was only a novice flyer.
'I CAN"T KEEP UP!' she cried.

Next time i will do a bigger chapter.

lol to be honest it's a bit shabby cause i have never done a fan fiction with bats.

Chapter 1 continued cause it was to short...
A strange looking owl entered the room grabbing Bathan
'goodbye Shan..' she whispered being dragged out of the room and lifted on a stone pillar.
The last thing Shan heard was her dieing screams..

Neon flew the opposite way to Laylen the real name of Shan's mother.
The first thing she noticed was 5 owls on a single tree they must be guarding something .

chapter 2: The owls revealed
Shan whimpered crashing into walls she tried using her echo vision but it was all a blur.
She knew she would be next.

Neon flew low over the water hoping her silverwing fur would be enough to disguise her.
When she reached the tree she flew up and remembered a trick Griffiths father had taught her when she had asked about Goth and the great pyramid as a new born.
Neon tried producing an invisablility cloak but could only shield half her body
it will have to do She flew silently to the tree clinging on to a branch were she saw a hollow big enough to fit a bat.
Neon entered and heard a pounding noise from a corner it looks like a male bat.....graywing She moved closer clawing strong wooden bars eventually they gave out.
The Graywing looked back at Neon with a gleam in his eyes
'yo....you freed me?!' Neon nodded
'come on i have to find my friend' She beckoned him on
'i can't'
'why not?'
'they started this rebellion a year ago to get back at the bats for convincing their leader to give the bats back the sun so they started this they break our wings then kill us on the stone pillars'
Neon just nodded.

ugh long chapter

yeah it looked long on my ipod lol now it isn't.

Chapter 3: Jirai
'who are you?' Neon had asked as they climbed the tree.
'Jirai GrayWing'.

Shan heard the faint wingbeats of an owl appraoching.
The owl plucked shan up then flew to the stone pillar.

Neon saw the owl with Shan her eyes wide a sad look on her face
'SHAN!!' the owl turned around but Jirai had puled Neon back behind the tree.
'we can't save her!' he snapped but Neon kept on struggling witnessing the death of Shan. to be continued.....
