The day I got the game, I remember opening the manual to a random page and it ended up on this one. So "Cyder" was a first impression of the game for me! Haha, good times.

Yeah, I read somewhere (before playing the game) that Spyro was meant to be stronger and Cynder was meant to be faster. When I read that, I thought it meant that Spyro would be able to kill monsters more easily, while Cynder would be faster moving around. Can't say I've noticed that. But aside the fact that the characters have different elemental abilities, I think the health and mana portions are the only gameplay difference between them. Not sure what they meant about Cynder being faster as such, but I did wonder if Spyro having higher maximum health is what they meant by being stronger.
