Yes, it should. I'd love a remake of the classic games over a new game any day.

I think the idea should be left alone. We already know the stories.. I'd rather see something new come of Spyro. I'd like them to continue where they left off. Don't get me wrong, remakes would be cool with new graphics and all, but I still like the idea of a new game better. Plus, it's hard to recreate classics.. And with Spyro being owned by a different company, they wouldn't know how to pull it off.

They can do it kinda like the Sly collection. Don't completely remake the game, just update some details and such, and just like the Sly collection, give a sneak peek to Spyro's Kingdom if it's released before the game comes out. I also feel as though it should be exclusive to the PS3, just like how the Classics were exclusive to the PS1. It would force me to get a PS3.

So yeah, re-release it, but along the lines of the Sly collection. Crash can do the same thing.

I would welcome the idea, but they really should get to making a brand new game.
I would also like to see something along the lines of Sonic Adventure DX.

I think thay shode make all 3 spyro games in one that would be awesome

I think that they should remake some games to make it easier. I, myself am having a difficult time progressing through this one game, and I would love to see if they can come out with an easier version!

I think that it would be a great idea, I've been wanting a remake of the Original Spyro games for so long, ever since last year. It would be much better if Insomniac were to re-make them, then they could re-design the levels and make the areas larger. But if an unknown company or another company were to do it, they should just re-make it exactly the same, otherwise, it would just be like AHT. In my opinion.

get the people who made the sly collection to remake the first 3 spyro games in HD. sanzuru or what ever there names were did a good job.

Sanzaru? Maybe. But I think Insomniac is the only ones that would be able to do it right.

Yeah... Although that could cause confusion for younger kids/casual Spyro players between universes- you can't switch between old and new Spyro with every game. I'd prefer an Insomniac style game with a TLoS setting.

A re release of the classics with enhanced graphics and sound quality, plus a few new additions like original making of videos and concept art, and some all new music and levels would be sweet!

I've played the old games so many times and wish there was more I could get out of them. So yeah, I'd like to see this happen.

I also think that if Spyro 2 and 3 were to be re-made, they would need to take some of the challenges out, and put more orb/egg finding challenges instead, I miss all that from Spyro 1, you don't really see it in 2 and 3.

I would love a remake. Awesome PS3 graphics, harder game-play and possibly more levels would be great for it. :3

Yes I would like a remake, because although I do love the classics as part of my childhood, there were some aspects story wise that I felt needed to be expanded along with some more character inter-action between Spyro and Sparx.

That's part of the reason why I haven't been on here in a while is because I have been working on my little fan project, codenamed "Fairy Tales", to reintroduce the original Spyro's story as well as introduce (or reimagine) some aspects of the game like those optional boss levels, The supposed lost sixth family, as well as a couple of characters that got dropped from the first game.

Well I think the classics are perfect the way they are. Sometimes remakes doesn't mean it the same storyline. Like Super Mario 64 remake for DS as an example. They re did the entire story.

So no I think they should be left alone.

I don't think a remake of the Classics is absolutely necessary, but I wouldn't mind it. I'd rather an actual new game though, particularly in the LoS universe.
When I'm playing the Classics, I don't really care about the story....it's my SUPER HAPPY FUN FUN TIME!!!

I am happy playing the classics as they are, they're really great games as they are. I wouldn't mind a remake though, but if they do it, I hope they'll keep the story and everything the same, they should only improve the graphics to meet today's standards, but keep everything else the same, maybe add some minor things

My Original Spyro games for the PS1 still work completely fine, it's cool.

My games still play fine too, but the music tends to lag sometimes, or sometimes the music just stops.

I wouldn't mind if INSOMNIAC made a remake of original Spyro trilogy and ETD. But no changes in plot and gameplay, only in graphics (version for PS3 not only with HD, but with better graphics, fire, water etc.). Insomniac should make a PC version for those, who don't know Spyro series at all. IMO every single person in the world should know Spyro

Sounds very nice, but Insomniac will never create a Spyro game.

I would love a remake of the classics, for PS2, PS3, Xbox etc. better graphics, same storyline and everything, same Spyro, same characters...just different gaming console and graphics. So then I could finally have STD, GWTG, YOTD on my PS2.

It's never gonna happen, but we can hope!

I'd personally like the next 3 games to have the same storyline and humour as the original trilogy but in a LoS setting... Hehe, a remake in the new universe!
