When I am flying in Valley of Avalar in Dawn of the Dragon, the music makes me feel as if I am the dragon flying through the valley. It is almost as if I can feel myself lighten and take off into the sky, the wind buffetting my face. Does anyone else feel the same way? Or am I losing it?

YES! I'm not crazy! I get into video games to where I flinch when attacked. I guess that's why I love the Guardians game because there's so much FLYING!

Finally! Someone who agrees! In the Guardians game when you fly straight down toward the ground, I can almost feel my heart race, and then skip a beat when I pull up.

Totally! Same when I fight or fly in Spyro. You can get the feeling of desperation and when you're bringing the boat back to Meadow I feel like somethings dragging me down.

The situation in the game reaches the soul... becomes part of you.

When I'm playing a Sonic game, my adreniline just shoots up! One time, I was playing Sonic Unleashed on Xbox 360 in the Holoska stage. There was a chilly breeze outside, so I opened the window, and then the breeze was coming in while I teared through the game!

I love the Avalar music, but the second Burned Lands music is the one that really makes me feel Spyro-ish... it's hard to describe.

I don't know if I've gotten that.. I haven't played the game recently..
But when I was watching How to Train Your Dragon, that happened to me all the time! When Hiccup and Toothless were flying, I got so into it! When they went downwards, my heart would jump.

Uh, no, I don't feel immersed. But it was really pretty to look at.

I remember feeling like that while playing some game, not a Spyro one....I forget what it was...

Or like, when I'm playing MGS I can just feel the rush when I get caught and I have to pull out the assault rifle.

For me, the theme of ANB is more fitting to that description.

Oh yeah, MGS is quite immersive sometimes!

I haven't gotten that feeling from Avalar,but there are some games that have music that gets me feeling like I'm actually in the game.

Not from Avalar, but I do feel it with a lot of other games, including the first Spyro game

i feel basically the same way. if i'm really into a game, i'm just really into the game. no matter what it is. i felt that today when i played DotD for the first time

brawl
and
DOTD
I feel the same way and i always flinch in fighting games.

When I play Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2, I get really fired up!

Ugh.It happens to me all time during rouge trooper

It also happens when I'm going through Twilight Falls. So purty. <3

It even happened to me in the ANB flight level. Ahhh, so pretty and peaceful. <3 Until you get to the monkey cannons.

Yea i get that alot! I hate coming to the end of a great game, especialy finishing a game series. because then you know its all over. I got that feeling with Overlord

The first time I play DotD in Avalar I was so concentrating on the level that I fogot I was playing a game and I was realy spyro, until my dad called me and I snaped out of it.

HECK YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When i played spyro TEN fighting gaul spyro didn't have that much health and it felt like i was spyro and i was press the :square: and :R2: button as fast as i can.

Anyone who is human should feel like that when playing that game. It's so fastpaced, my fingers get sore after I play it! (I know.. pathetic.)
