Take a gander at this! I wonder why Insomniac took out the rolling for the sequel.

He could roll in full version of Spyro the Dragon aswell. I don't know why Insomniac Games took it out, I think it was a handy move.

I never did understand that... They didn't bring back the rolling till DotD.

i didnt think rolling was really useful (till dotd) but i wonder why they took it out........

I found the roll very useful in Spyro the Dragon, when enemies shoot projectiles at you, and I used to roll out the way and quickly flame them before they did anything else.
