I thought of this alot. I really thought they should have made some add ons for this game. I mean if you did something like gta style, to tell the story again from a different dragons view. like an expansion for malefor cynder or hunter.(i personaly think hunter add on would be great.) or like more armor or just maybe some simple stuff you know? just to keep us spyro fans at bay till the next game.

Oh man, I know what you mean! So much potential for great DLC! Special Co-op levels, an arena mode, Dark Spyro and Cynder, side stories.... the possibilities are endless!

It could of been because they thought it would be unfair seeing as PS2 and Wii don't do DLC. That, or they weren't bothered.

yea thats true. but the game was a more new gen platformed game. like if they had mass effect on ps2... there still going to make mass effect add ons

Yeah, but DotD isn't as successful as Mass Effect, sadly.

not the point though im saying that if you made a good game your not going to lose money just to be fair its cruel nut thats how buisness works

Maybe Activision just down rite don't care. At least thats what I think and is probably one of the reasons why DotD turned out the way it did. And I think it's unfair cause ANB has an Elijah Wood interview in the extras and TEN has the dragon challenges and Dark Spyro so why does DotD only get an art gallery in the extras? I mean it has the armour and you can use the dark element and everything but I think other playable levels would be nice.

Add-ons don't make a game worse as they are optional and add to the game, hence the term "add-ons". The only exception is a patch that removes cool glitches, like with Sonic Unleashed. They removed bad glitches, but also some good glitches.

I don't think this is the type of game to have add-ons, to be honest (I don't think any of the Spyro games are the type really). But that's just my opinion.

It's perfect for Add-ons, IMO. Just look at Sonic Unleashed. 30+ DLC levels on Xbox 360 and PS3.

You can't. The Wii/DSi stores only download apps, and the updates are only for the actual console. I do wish Nintendo would have put game updates on though.

You are now able to get WiiWare demos for free off the Wii Shop Channel. Could this mean Nintendo is going to allow DLC for games?

If they do, they should do the same with the 3DS and update older games with 3-D. It would be quite fun to see ANB for DS in 3-D, especially in the epic boss battles. But anyway, that's off-topic.
