I believe it was Spyro that was released first before this film.
Evidence: 1.) http://www.flixster.com/movie/west-beyrouth-west-beirut 2.) http://www.infoplease.com/movi...-beyrouth/20053 Both say released September 3rd, 1999. (North America?/Europe?) 3.) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0157183/ Says it was released October 30th, 1998 (in Norway). Both of these dates for the movies are after the original release date of Spyro The Dragon (which was released on September 10th, 1998 in America).

I noticed that Stewart Copeland always reuses his music which is why the Amanda Show theme sounds similar to the Wizard Peak music.

The film was released in May 1998 in some parts of the world. Remember that this film has non-American origins, so it wouldn't be released there first.
