Yeah, the ones in the Mountain of Malefor were heaps better than the rest.
And I so miss the apes, but i didn't mind the new enimies much. But did the apes turn into walking skeletons or something in DotD?

Oh yuk! I'd hate 2 be them! I still feel bad for them though cause it's almost like they had no choice but 2 work for Malefor but even though they did Malefor still cursed them although they(basically)did what he wanted. 2 me thats not right.

The Apes only served Malefor because they wanted his power to get their revenge. Malefor noticed this, and repaid their "loyalty" by cursing them.

Apes -
These guys were actually good enemies and were a challange, and Iliked how they gave all of them random names. Good effect.
Zombie/ Undead Things -
Nice ugly zombies. I like some undead enemies.
Dreadwing -
Like the Apes, a fun challange.
Grublins -
Just pure nuisenses.

^ Malefor, Grublins (Goblins), Trolls and Orcs are everywhere. From ancient legends, through Scandynavian and old, European stories to our modern books and games. These monsters are in LotR, WoW, Warhammer, almost each fantasy production with magical creatures (writers are to lazy to make new species, but in example John Flanagan made 2, vargals <my translation from Polish> and calcars). But, again with vargals, they are like urgals, controled by a person, imo Flanagan took something from Paolini's idea smilie

Orcs and gnomes aren't exactly an original Spyro species either. Then again, that moves onto meta concepts of what the true conceptual origins were for the first game, and how much of a numpty the person who made the theory up was.

^ Gnorc, I didn't say that orcs and gnomes are Spyro's creatures, they mixed them, so they have Gnorcs smilie It's fine for me.
