Okay, so I finally get bored enough with playing with The Eternal Night (after playing it 4 times over and over again) and I decide to play this game all over again. At the scene where Ignitius is fighting all of the ape enemies there and he does his fury, I noticed something. My fire breath/fury was upgraded all of the way. And when Ignitius did his fury, it somehow seemed to have upgraded from when I originally saw it. This ever happen to you????

Actually, this is true.

Ignitus's fire attacks in ANB when he fight monkeys aren't actually hard-coded and are based on Spyro's own stats. In short, his attacks are exactly the same Spyro's. This is why the fury attack he do is upgraded if you upgraded your fire element to the max in subsequent walkthroughs and why his main flamethrower attack is larger too.

Yes, this is actually strange. Guess it saves space for more data in the game since they don't have to create and program actual attacks for Ignitus... but still, if so, why not hard-code them so that they might be at a certain power level rather than Spyro's?

Oh well...

Maybe the gamers who were creating the game didn't want to go through the hassle of making seperate fury attacks for these two characters. So maybe that's why it's in the game. I'm only guessing, by the way.

And the cool thing about when Ignitius gets an upgraded breath attack in this game is that he beats the enemies a lot quicker than you originally saw. In the original cutscene, the monkeys were still alive up until Ignitius landed on the ground. But with his upgraded Fury attack, he beat them when he was still a good few feet in the air.
