darkSpyro

Well, seeing as I haven't seen anyone on YouTube do this ( Even on a "DarkSpyro run") or have heard anyone else mention it, I thought I might as well bring it up, if it's already known, I apologize.

Now, you know that one Cutscene where Spyro turns into DarkSpyro? If you ever tried, you notice you can't switch into DarkSpyro during it, unlike most of the cutscenes, so you must assume that it was made that way, right? Wrong, there's a trick to being DarkSpyro during this cutscene.

Simply, all you have to do is be DarkSpyro when you land the final blow to Gaul in round one.

Now, I'm sure anyone that's tried killing him as DarkSpyro has noticed, that when you attack Melee Attack him, as you HAVE to do in round one, you do hardly any damage, so unless your EXTREMELY patient, just do this:

1: Switch to Earth Breath, Earth Breath Melee does more damage to him.

2: When his health gets low, switch to ANY other breath, why? Cuz, unless it's just me, there's a glitch with DarkSpyro, where if you use his secondary attack ( The killer combo that makes you invincible while you do it) take up elemental energy if you have it over Earth Breath, but not any other breath for some reason , I don't know if it's the same for "Default" DarkSpyro, but better safe then sorry.

3: Once his heath is REALLY low, switch to DarkSpyro, then finnish him off, you should be DarkSpyro during the cutscene

My guess: They wanted to have it so you couldn't change here so it wouldn't look awkward ( notice how weird Spyro's poses are when he's in the Dark Beam? While you can see it as DarkSpyro due to the dark colors, you can't see it as Spyro) , but were too lazy to completely de-code it, so they just made DarkSpyro's attacks do almost NOTHING against Gaul and assumed no one would have enough patience/would think of doing/would get around to killing Gaul with DarkSpyro to see it

I seem to have no problem with playing as Dark Spyro. I defeat Gaul easily.

ok heres a dream level ds glitch
ok we all no in the dream level u cant turn into ds?
well u can
if u have ds enter the TEN cheat for ds
then re enter it in dream level (or just enable it in dream level if u dont have it) U MUST DO IT BEFORE U GET TO THE FURY PART!!!!!!!
and spyro will be ds even in the cutsceens (before fury part)
the glitch doesnt work after u get past the fury part though
but its cool to play part of the dream level as ds x)

the glitch works with other parts to but its useless against the dreadwings and assisans parts cuz ds's purple fury doesnt work right

oh well i just love making ds storys x)
if only i knew how to record ps2 stuff......

meh i have horrible lines on my tv and my tv makes everything dark and when im playing AHT theres no light option so i end up looking like im in black randomness then i fall of a cliff

yes i want my "old crappy but better then dat tv" back sooo much

Huh? I can't do anything to make Spyro be DarkSpyro in the Dream levels It's disabled no matter when I click the button.

Unless I'm reading those directions wrong...

Well, I kinda don't get how I'm suppose to be DarkSpyro in the Dream Levels, cuz the button is disabled and even if I was DarkSpyro before "fainting", it turns me normal Am I suppose to rapidly click the button in the loading screen orrrr...?

ok heres what u do
if u have ds GREAT
if u dont thats fine
ok if u have ds enter the cheat code that dark found in the dream level
then enter it again or if u dont have ds just enter it ONCE in the dream level but do it before u get to the fury part
and u can play as ds

Ohhhh! *Headdesks* I still thought that there wasn't any cheats in this game Woo! I'm gonna have a BALLPARK with this
