I found an easter egg in the game. Pause the game and leave it paused long enough. When you select continue, when the music stops playing, some different music will start to play which is what you wouldn't normally hear in the levels. It doesn't work in the home worlds, the boss levels (except Jaques and Metal head), High Caves, Gnasty's Loot and the speedways.

That used to happen alot when I lost my memory card and had to leave my game paused for hours.

Did you know that "Spyro: The Dragon" is the only game in the series that can change tracks if you stay long enough, you don't have to do anything to change it really.

You mean you don't have to pause the game to change the music?

Spyro Year of the Dragon changed tracks when I played it. In one level (I forget) it started playing the music from that swampy level (the music there sound's like Sheila's)

mine was a version that not everyone has, though. Some people say the music for lost fleet doesn't sound a thing like Sheila's Alp, or some say it is a glitch that the music sounds that way.

My friends music got really weird. He said his memory card crashed so he bought a used card which happened to have Spyro game memory but when the music played it sounded as if only one instrument was playing so the whole thing went solo the whole game.

I tried this hidden music thing too. I was in Stone Hill and it suddenly started playing the music from High Caves.

p.s Did anyone notice that the changed music seems to be in a slower tempo as well?

no...they way they group the music is funny...its just like, you have to identify the tracks, they dont tell you. its like, it says TRACK1. and you figure out its the music to lost fleet...you can put it on your ipod, too. i did that !! =]

How do you get music off there? It doesn't seem to work for me.

Off galbadia hotel. When I try to download it, it links me to the site from "My Pictures" file.

You click on the title of the song. For example... if I wanted to download Wizard Peak I would click on the link that says Wizard Peak. It then says CLICK HERE, right click and hit save as (for Firefox) or just left click it (Internet Explorer)

i dont really understand how gh works, but for me it downloads directly to itunes. then, for some reason, it doesnt stay on itunes. like, the next time i load up my computer and itunes it wont be there.soo...yeah

for identifying files, heres what i did (you could call me obsessed or crazy if you want, id have to agree with you)
i basically listened to every file, guessed what it was and for ones i wasnt sure i loaded the game and tried to find a level with matching music.
yes, i am weird. =P

I'm a girl, Red Spyro. My avatar is a ceffyl-dwr - a water horse. They are in Welsh legends and legends in other countries but the welsh water horse is crafty and has a wicked sense of humour. It often lures weary travellers up on to it's back and soars over valleys and mountains before throwing the rider to it's death if he/she speaks. I like the legend so it's my avatar.

If you start a new game and go to Dark Hollow first and wait until the music changes, it'll change to this sort of fairytail-ish music. Does anyone know what this is meant to be?

Just make sure the music completes three rounds and then it'll change

Oh! And in Stone Hill it takes longer, say four or five rounds

i first discovered that in dark hollow.
i like the one in dark hollow the best. im not sure what level it was based off of, but it would be one of those levels in dream weavers. maybe haunted towers.

Or maybe it was an original piece of music (Probably a Dream Weaver world like you said) before it was changed something else they prefered

Sometimes the Dark Hollow music changes to a sadder and slower version of the music in Metalhead, you can also hear it in Dark Passage, Wizard Peaks, and Terrace Village.

I've also heard the music from Tree Tops being played there too

I heard that on stone hill and it started playing the music from the credits.

Sounds interesting. it may take more than my mom lets me play though...
