This is just something that I've been wondering about for a while..
So in the end of TEN, Spyro and Cynder were stuck in that Crystal in the Mountain of Malefor, or the Well of Souls, right?
So how did they end up in the "Catacombs"?
I looked up the definition of "Catacombs" and what I got is..
"An underground cemetery consisting of chambers or tunnels with recesses for graves."
Mehh, you might think this is a dumb question, but I never really fully understood how they ended up there.

I dunno maybe the 'Catacombs' is what was left of the mountain after it collapsed three years before DOTD. Or maybe the Chronicler cheated and moved them to allow them to be found.

It's a series of chambers Malefor's army built for the two young dragons to struggle with/get lost in. It is what is left of the mountain, highly edited, like a trap. It also fits, because the Well of Souls now is broken, so graves are everywhere, theoretically.

But it doesn't make sense, they would have freed Spyro and Cynder while building. It's mostly linear anyway.

I think what Wild says makes sense. I don't think they would've freed Spyro and Cynder while they were building it, because, well.. it wouldn't be finished, therefor they would escape easier, right? But I'm still wondering why they even ended up releasing them at all. They could have left them and they wouldn't have escaped at all. But I was thinking.. the reason they released them was because they figured sooner or later, Spyro & Cynder's allies would've found them and released them themselves.

Yeah, exactly. Better release your enemies on your own time rather than allow them to randomly get free. Maybe the place was guarded too while it was being built on, and was only left unguarded around the 'right time' for Cynder and Spyro to get released.

I can agree with Wild, but I'm also leaning on the fact that things can change within three years.

I thought the Well of Souls was surrounded by water.

Oh my God... At the beginning S&C were in Well of Souls, grublins took them to Catacombs (grublins' lair) after crashing the Time Crystal. Easy. Well of Souls and Catacombs are different places.

There was a pathway leading to where the Crystal was.

And the Well of Souls was surrounded by water.

And Spyro and Cynder weren't supposed to grow up in crystal, Cynder suddenly has her jewellery, Sparx's voice keeps changing etc... Another stupid plothole. It happens, when you give a game from one makers to another... I want Krome DotD, it would be much better.

It's kinda confusing.... it's like they got trapped in prison and woke up in and shopping centre older.

^ I made a joke out of it and called it "magic jewelry". Also I was confused about how they could grow in a crystal. But hey I was also confused on how Tetra could see everything going on around her as a statue in Phantom Hourglass.

I think the grublins took Spyro and Cynder to the catacombs too.

spyro16, I have PS2 version, she doesn't have her necklace and bracelets (jewelery). And suddenly, because they were frozen in time with Spyro, so I think that they saw something like orange light (being frozen) and in next second (in their point of view) they were awake in Catacombs. It's like sleep. You close your eyes and suddenly you are awake.
And second suddenly, because she was frozen and her body cannot grow, move or do anything (like growing claws or... growing jewelery).
I know, this post is a mess, but I hope that you'll understand me

^ Yeah, Which is why they couldn't believe they had been "asleep" for nearly two years. And Cynder got her jewelry back.. just because of the change from Krome to EL, right? They just changed her design. If they had done TEN, she would have her jewelry there too..

And she wouldn't be cute and plump, she would be anorectic looking teen dragon, yuk! Cynder has the best design in TEN, she's so adorable and helpless... Without Spyro she would be lost! I want to know, how does she get to the Fleet.

What fleet? You mean the Pirate Fleet? She got captured by the pirates after she ran away.

Oh, and catacombs doth remind me of TPOTO catacombs.

I'm looking at her rite now and she has her "jewellery" on. Its the cutscene where she runs away from the temple and i have played and beat the game a lot of times and every time I see her she has everything on. Iv'e looked at the gallery pics of her on another site and she doesn't have it there but she does on my game. As I said if I knew how to upload youtube vids I would prove it. I would also need a webcam or video camera though and I don't have either.(Not trying to argue so don't get me wrong)

Well, maybe it's random and you are lucky to see her in her silver bracelets etc? I dunno... I'm sad because my StD and YotD have no soudn of music and dialogs...

Who knows. All I know is that I'm very confused. In the TEN game my friend has she doesn't but in my game she does. To be honest I don't really know how she is supposed to look. I think she looks cool either way.

She has best voice in DotD parody (check out my Guestbook), that's what I think

That series is pure win. I found the scenes more entertaining than the real game itself

I always LOL at Sparx in all 3 games cause of his humour.

I think he's most funny in TEN. sounds a little better in ANB but funnier in TEN. In my opinion anyway.

I know its kinda stupid if you ask me. They should have stayed w/ David Spade from ANB cause hes the best. They did the same w/ Cynder 2 but there is a good explaination for her I mean w/ being an evil adult in ANB, A younger dragon in TEN and a teen in DotD. Her voice can't stay the same forever.(If thats the case then I wonder why they didn't do that w/ Spyro.)

Spyro was also a teen in DotD but my only excuse for growing in a crystal is that the game is fantasy based so almost anything can happen.(Dang no wonder why the apes can talk. Ah talking animals!)

Cynder has a voice change, and Spyro doesn't? Another plothole... I hate DotD.

Its not the game I hate its just somethings in it I hate like the plot holes, not being able 2 fly very high, loss of the charge ability etc........I still can't believe they replaced charging w/ free flight I mean its not very free when you can't fly very high

Bolt, that's another argument, that Justin Bieber is a girl No voice changing. Even Sparx's voice is lower in DotD (I know, it's an actor change, but he still has lower voice), so I think that Spyro is an eunuch, he has no balls, he has no testosteron, so he has no voice change xD So, Spyro and Cynder cannot remake the Dragons kind. Well, Terrador, Cyril or Volteer... Off your work (or something like this )

*slaps forhead* You know sometimes guys voices may take a while to change. My bro's voice was high pitched until he turned 15. He's 16 now.

I like Spyros voice the way it is. Of all the games 2 me Elijah Wood is the better voice actor.(My opinion)
