"Welcome to the school dear!"The lady in the office told me.

"My name's Jared,miss."

"Oh,of course it is hun.Your homeroom is 111,okay?"

I nodded and smiled."Thank you,miss."

I left the office and walked down the hallway to my locker.Everybody stared at me.Maybe 'cause I was new,maybe 'cause I was dressed pretty fancy like.My parents were pretty rich so I got some nice clothes.I wasn't a snob though.In fact my previous school had dubbed me the "Anarchist."

Why?Well you'll see.I was the only new 9th grader in the school so I'd probably be kinda awkward to be around.

I found my locker,number 1194.There were a bunch of kids around it.Judging by their looks,a bunch of Rich Kids and a couple Bullies for bodyguards.

"Excuse me,"I said,"I need to get to my locker."

One of the kids,tall,blonde hair,and some fancy shades turned to look at me."You must be Jared.I'm Sam."He held his hand out.

"Yeah,that's me,"I replied,shaking his hand."Nice to meet you."

"Hopefully it'll stay that way."

"What do you mean?"

He didn't reply.The group just left,and I got to my locker.Before I even got in another kid came up to me."Hi,my name's Harry."

"Jared."I said,then looked at him.Oh,this guy was definately a Metal Head.Had to be a senior to.

"Look,if Sam gives you any trouble,you just come to me,got it?"

I laughed."Look man,I can handle myself.But thank you."

Harry laughed along with me."Want a tour of the school before homeroom?We got another 20 minutes."

I nodded."Sure."

Pretty soon I knew the school like the back of my hand.Now time for the big question."This school divided into groups?"

Harry nodded."Big time.There's the Rich Kids,the Bullies,the Metal Heads(like me),the Poppers,the Rappers,and of course the Rock 'n Rollers.Then there are the Math Wizzes,the Geeks,of course the Nerds,and the Teacher Pets.Oh,Jocks and Cheerleaders to."

I smiled."Just like my last school."

"Yeah.The Rich run the school.The Bullies act as bodyguards.Jocks are pretty nice,upstanding guys that you can hire to help ya' out.Cheerleaders are sluts,Geeks and Nerds are outcasts,and Teacher Pets are snitches.Math Wizzes are our equivalent of loan sharks,but less nasty.And the musical kids are just there.What are you?"

"Me?I like to go against the flow.They called me the "Anarchist."

I looked at the clock.Music Appreciation sucked so much,and I couldn't wait for lunch.That was when I'd cause some trouble.

From what the other kids had told me,Sam basicly ran the 9th grade,acting like a big shot and what not.But there was someone else in charge,giving him orders.Hopefully I'd send that guy a message.

The bell ran and everyone rushed out the door.One girl got her books knocked from her hands and sighed,rushing to pick them up.I helped her out,being a gentlemen that I was.Of course,I wasn't expecting anything to come out of it.

Said girl however,was beautiful.I actually stumbled a it trying to help her."Thank you,"she said to me,in a very sweet voice.I was stunned by her dark brown hair and chocolate eyes.Listen to me,I sound like a loon!

"You're welcome."I replied,smiling.She smiled back and scurried out of the room.I followed close behind saying,"I'm Jared!And you are...?"

"Laura.I hate to be rude but I have a class to get to."

Ah,lunch.Full of nasty corn dogs,unexplainable mush,and surprisingly tasty chocolate milk.A school's equivalent of a watering hole.

I sat down with Harry at his table and met his friends,listened to some songs,then practiced some headbanging with them.I got a headache,but it was fun.Then I decided to cause some trouble.

I stood and walked over to the table where the Rich Kids sat,and took a seat.Sam raised an eyebrow."Beat it."

"No."

"Excuse me?I said beat it!"

I smirked."What're you gonna do?Send in that monkey of a bodyguard you have?"He snapped his fingers and the giant came over and tryed to grab me.Not happening.

With no teachers around I grabbed the kids by his hair and slmmed his head into the table.He groaned in pain and backed off.

I smiled at Sam,who seemed absolutely infuriated."Make sure your boss knows that I did this.Jared,got it?"

Sam's eyes widened in surprise.Bingo,I'd hit it right on the head.There was someone behind the scenes.

"Greaaaaat....Time for school."

Harry laughed."Yeah,unfortunately.But hey,Three Days Grace is coming to town soon.Maybe we can score some tickets."

Upon walking into school I immediatly noticed Sam and some twelvth grader."Who's he?"I asked,turning to Harry.

"That's Thomas.Rumor has it he's the one behind all the Rich Kid operations."

Judging by the way he looked at me,that didn't seem to off.Suddenly he strode over to us,except Harry somehow got seperated from me."Jared?"

He raised an eyebrow."Yeah...?"

"Look,there's no reason that you and I can't be friends.Sure,Sam hates your guts,but you and I can be friends...If you work with me."

I smirked and patted him on the back."Sorry Thomas,no can do."
