I sorta noticed a bit of strange logic. If S&C are connected with a magical chain around their necks, wouldn't they choke when it was pulled? I guess it is magical and everything, but still.

The chains fitted around their necks when the snakes coiled around them. I'm guessing Spyro and Cynder struggled to get used to it.

The chain is more like a force holding them together than an actual physical chain, so no choking.

Yeah, holding together, right...
Remember this cutscene after last Golem fight in Catacombs? Spyro and Hunter run away, but Cynder was almost caught in this corridor, behind those door, opened by horn. Spyro was about 50 meters from Cynder, but in gameplay they can't go 5 meters from each other...
