"I'm ready, Master." Cynder said. Spyro looked up, looking like he was about to cry. Cynder saw him, and gave him a 'Don't worry' look. Spyro looked down. "I will save you." She mouthed. Malefor gave her the deep purple gem that held her dark power. Cynder hesitated, then took the necklace and hurried off to her old cave, almost bursting into tears because Spyro had not beleived in her. He had told her. In a dream. She would start training tomorrow with him. She stuffed the amulet in a small handbag she had when she was just a chick. (baby dragon) She moved slowly around the room, a small smile on Cynder's face.


Malefor yelled, and it startled Cynder. "What?" She whispered. Then she realized he was yelling at Spyro. She hurried into the opening of Malefor's lair. "I will take care of this, Master." She said politely to him. She grabbed Spyro and pretended to drag him through the door. When they were outside, she said to him, "Spyro, I can handle this. With my powers, I will keep you and your family safe. Trust me." Spyro looked at her, and said, "Cynder, I'm sorry. I can't trust you. Your exposure to the darkness has killed millions of dragons. I don't want that to happen. Again." Cynder had an angry and hurt look on her face, and turned without saying a word. Her tail blade hit Spyro and made a cut on his scales. He winced in pain, but Cynder didn't care anymore. She wanted to make Spyro miserable. She ran to her cave, not stopping to tell Malefor what had happened. She dug out the gem, and thrust it around her neck, not caring how it would hurt others. A black swirling tornado spun around her, making her eyes white, her scales black, and her chest red. A deep sleep fell upon her.

Cynder awoke, with Spyro leaning in, looking at her worriedly. "Spyro! What are you doing? How did you get past- Nevermind. It was a dream."
"What?" Spyro was confused.
When Spyro said that to Cynder, something snapped inside her. "Spyro, I need to talk to you." Cynder sighed. "And I don't know how you're going to take it." Cynder told him about her dream, but Spyro obviously didn't understand what she was getting at.
"Spyro, he's calling me back."
"Who's calling you where?" Spyro wondered.
"Malefor is calling me back to the dark side, the place you saved me from before." Cynder replied.
Spyro backed away, sensing he was near darkness.
"Spyro!" Cynder yelled, but he turned and ran before he answered.
She took off, knowing Spyro wouldn't be able to outrun darkness. When Cynder was right above him, she swooped down and caught him by his wings. From there, she went to Malefor's lair, and everything happened like her dream. Deja vu.

I am so sorry that i am double posted, but i need to post more!

Spyro fell asleep where he and Cynder had argued the night before. He couldn't believe that Cynder would do something like that. She wasn't evil, and Spyro knew that. But ever since they lost Sparx, Spyro had been quieter, and seemed to care less. Maybe he was the one who had made Cynder want to go back. He put his head on his paws and sighed. Would Cynder really go against him? Or would she be true to her word and help him and his family? Right now, it was hard to tell.
