i hate the fact that we already know so much information about it! even that it's in process of being completed...
it kills me! the anticipation builds up and then it dies and i'm not as excited as i was at first. boo. :[

but yeah. if we have to wait for it to come out on ps2, i'm probably just going to rent a ps3. :]
they still rent out game consoles, right?

Ah, the GameStop/EBgames site does have an Xbox 360 version listed, they just spelt the title wrong for that one "Legend of Spyrol: Darkest Hour".

Ok, first I'd have to speak for my favourite point. Co-operative. Those guys really know how to solve a tough problem, as in the fact of people complaining about TEN being too easy, and those who think too hard. They have made the right choice in solving this and it will also add a ton of fun, especially since that means multiplayer. I hope that they do make co-op avaliable alone, like in The Simpsons Game and Lego Star Wars. And not just one character to control non-multiplayer and two on multiplayer, like Crash of the Titans. Ok, PS3 version was expected, sorta. Not Xbox 360, but oh well. And guys, IT IS CURRENTLY UNKNOWN OF THESE TWO CONSOLES BEING THE ONLY AVALIABLE! I don't mean there'll only be handheld versions too. No. There is still a chance of it being on the Wii and PS2. A big chance.

The DM? Aww, man, I hope not. I hope to see him in an interesting form but I don't want him to be the final boss. Yes, maybe the second last but it'd be nice to have an unexpected surprise boss. Maybe the Chronicler... Along with this, it'd be good if the game went on after the boss had been beat. Like in YotD, after beating Sorceress' Lair you had to do more. Or Resident Evil 4, you have to escape from the island (but maybe a bit longer than that). I'd like to see you having to control Spyro maybe returning home. Flash and Nina could make a reappearence.

You may have noticed that there are two characters in ANB and two in TEN which names' are sorta not revealed but able to find out. Like Flash and Nina (Sparx's parents) and Scratch and Sniff (Skabb's parrots). Good if the same sorta thing happens here. Some sort of things you have to do during which to survive like in 'Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition' during cutscenes. Maybe even be able to control where you move during cutscenes and such.

Fly at any time? Hope it's limited, not infitite. That would mean you'd have to alter the game majorly.

Yay! Another one for my birthday!

Well, this news tells me it'll be a fairly good game, but quite shaky. But it's still atleast 8 months until said release, so who knows what could happen?


At least I don't feel alone in my flying/final boss opinions. >.>

Probably well worth it, Zacoda1. But really, the only way Krome can get the best out of the PS3's impressive visuals and processing power is developing that version of the game on that console. If they simply develop the game on the Wii and then port it to the PS3, the PS3 version will be heavily flawed and little more than the Wii version with better graphics, graphics that would have been better if it had been developed on the PS3.

Well, the last I can remember of those are TEN and Crash of the Titans, but they were presents. TEN has become my fourth favourite Spyro game and Crash of the Titans was pretty good and addictive but rather easy, especially when you could control powerful titans and also I now have no motivation to reach 100%. TEN was too short as well.

From a friend at school I got Lego Star Wars (First Trilogy) and the game was quite fun at times but it had no speech at all and bearly any pointers to tell you what to do. It's also really fun on co-op but now the next level fails to load.

The only two I remember actually buying from a proper shop were Medal of Honor: European Assault and Need for Speed: Underground 2. MoH is pretty good and the multiplayer modes are awesome but it's a bit confusing. NfS wasn't exciting at all and lacked originality completely. I've barely played either game at all.

Ah, yes. I got ANB as a present, too. It wasn't as good as TEN but it seemed a good length and I was more excited to get it. I also think I got Crash Tag Team Racing in that time and it's ok and I still play it but it had little racing and the on-foot parts were only Single Player and often annoying. I'll never find that last Die-o-rama.

Well, there's Super Mario Galaxy, which I've heard is a real hit and I've seen a video of it and it looks really cool, but it looks too expensive. Metroid Prime I've seen a video of too that's good and apparently if you like Resident Evil 4 then you'll love Metroid Prime. I'm considering more now to get TDH (The Legend of Spyro: The Darkest Hour) on Wii because in the 8 months until release the makers will probably realize the problems with TEN on the Wii, like the Knock-Up Attack or Fury, and make it better. So maybe that's sorted out the problem.

But alongside that, does this information sound like I'd probably like the Wii version better?

umm im already deep into the game and all spyro does is glide...and so far there is no co-op but that could happen when the game is beaten...

NO! JUST NO! MAJOR EPIC PHAIL! Spyro can't/sucks at flying. This is one of the MAJOR defining traits of the purple dragon! Remove it and you remove one of the main points that make him different from the generic hero dragon!

I SOOOOO hope that this is a fake. Frankly. I'm hoping for it. They can't kill Spyro anew after getting this far. I don't want a second Enter The Dragonfly this soon!


Being able to fly everywhere is akward enough that they may never do it.

Plus now with the Spyro movie comming out there may be a plot with a new story to fit the spyro game

Furthermore, Spyro enter the dragonfly didn't have a planned plot.

Okay dark52 I'd like to know where the edit button is. Maybe it is possible to tell the begginers how to do everything because I'm one of those begginers.

Plus when you get new news from the spyro game. I'd want to be informed so I can tell everyone what's going on.

^Look at the bottom of your post. You'll see three things at the bottom of your post in green letters. It says these in order: "Reply. Quote. Report. Edit" You click Edit and then you scroll down and then type in whatever it is you wanna add, and then click "Edit post" and that should do it...
