As the title says. This confuse me a little, Dark52.

Had just checked it out. I hope you get to play it on a PS2! If not, I don't know what I do!

SInce it's coming out on Xbox 360, I'll just borrow my buddies Xbox for a week. I'll happy if it comes out on PS2 aswell though.

I hate the gamers for putting it on the PS3. Now I have to raise up money for that system, plus a Band trip to Victoria with my Band in May. What's next???? The next Spyro game after that will be only on the X-Box???? *Slams Head On The Table Repeatedly Again* I hate to be tortured like this!!!!

We can't blame ourselves. We should be blaming Sony for struggling to polish up the PS3 in time. I'm still a little miffed over their irks in backwards compatability out here (UK PAL), but that didn't bother me as I edged towards a Wii where I saw more games that I as a person would be interested in at the time (and I'm still getting there, I got Super Mario Galaxy last week, woo hoo!).

I shouldn't be too worried about the system in question. I stated that I'd get a PS3 in due time but it'll take a HUGE price slash before I will consider getting a system that doesn't do much in backwards playback. Nonetheless, none of us should really be worried as even if there's no means to access a main console version for some of us (and I believe there will ALWAYS be a Spyro game for a Sony console due to the origins there), the handhelds could do similar justice if there's anything provided for them.

Personally, I just want the news to be fake.

I mean... the Dark Master revived? Is TEN suddenly non-canon? If he was meant to be revived in the third game, couldn't they have kept that a surprise instead of announcing it like this?

But what kills it are the two following points:

-Xbox360 and PS3

On the Wii. Now. No, I don't care for those over-priced thingies.

-Flying anytime.

No. Just no. Spyro can't/sucks at flying. Flying anytime = you remove one of Spyro's most defining traits.

If all of this is true...

... then we are looking at the second Enter The Dragonfly.

"If we made the last Spyro game to the PS3, all the Spyro fans will get so desperate to get it that they buy a PS3! Then, we can get alot of money!"
So typical! Always thinking of money! Can't take it!

Guys, it's at least going to be on the Wii. There is no question at all about that. What they meant in the blurb is that this is the first time Spyro will be on PS3 and Xbox360.

And for the love of the Ancestors, will you people stop whining?! The game isn't even out yet and half the stuff I'm hearing is complaints! Quit it! >(

As for this game negating TEN, it doesn't. We already knew at the end of TEN that the DM was out. It was a given and completely unexpected that Spyro would have to fight him in person in the final game of this series. That was pretty much obvious from the start of ANB.

No Twilight, there will be a BIG difference, the PS3 version will have way more glitches!

Well, at least ithe PS3 version will actually look like a seveth generation game, which is more than I will ever be able to say about the Wi version. And remember; EA has nothing to do with this game, so there shouldn't be any glitches.

Every system has glitches on its first run and the PS3 is no exception. This game will likely be more glitchy on PS3 than on the tried and true consoles.

But it's been more than a year since launch, and multiplatform games such as DMC4 show us that glitches are quite easily avoidable(unless of course EA is involved, then poor quality is guaranted). That said though, in cases in which a Wii version is made as well as a PS3 and Xbox 360 version, problems arise, particualrly if the game is developed on the Wii and ported to the other consoles.

You can't play PS2 games on the 40 GB PS3, that's true. Odd really, as you can play PS1 games on it. All the other models can play PS2 games though; however, most of them have been done away with, leaving only the 40GB. Luckily, I have a 60GB that I got on launch day. I've heard rumours recently however that, to make up for the lack of backwards compatibility, Sony will re-release all the original PS2 games on the PS3 via the PlayStation Network.

Okay. It surpriced me a little when one of my friends at school told me that! Course you can play PS1 games on a PS2 and you can play GBA games on a DS.

It's nice to still see someone who is fully supporting Sony at the current moment. ;>.>

However after my experience of Sonic Nex-Gen I was able to find more glitches and programming errors in the game the than the Gamecube version of Enter the Dragonfly. AND given the numerous number of topics about PS2 TEN glitches, none of which I've been capable of doing on the Wii, I can probably expect there to be plenty of glitches on the PS3 format. OF COURSE, Krome could develop the game for the equally as graphically sophisticated and NOT GLITCHY 360, and port it to the PS3 from there.

And don't go saying the PS3 is graphically superior because I find these two consoles are pretty much equal at the moment.

Let's not speak of Sonic the Hedgehog. It was glitchy on both the PS3 ad the Xbox 360. And that game was notably rushed in development. Sega even admitted it themselves that they had rushed the game. The game was missing extra modes and had terrible loading times, as well as the glitches that are on both versions of the game. Blaming the PS3 for the glitches is just trying to take the blame off Sega and Sonic Team. Anyway, Sonic was developed in the early days of the PS3, when developers had a poor knowledge of how to develop for the console. Since then, developers have come to better understand the PS3's engine.

This game better be good or else im wasting $40

hey i have a band to and its called dragonhide since i am obssesed with dragons and most of the songs are to do with spyro over the years

That was not a level portal like in the first Spyro games.

Did anyone not notice that it's going to be released for the PS2 and DS as well as all these other systems? Yeesh.

Also, in regards to the DM being revived: duh! We knew that happened in ANB! Am I the only one paying attention here?
