Prologue,

deep in the galaxy near the center of the universe was the Grox home planet. the Grox species was the most feared in the universe. they planned to conquer the universe and annihilate any creature that gets in their way. the Grox were a monarchy ruled by a Grox named Shadow Force. King Shadow Force was a very bitter Grox that wouldn't take no for an answer. if another civilization refuses to ally with the Grox King Shadow Force would order immediate annihilation of that civilization. this method created much war throughout the galaxy. some civilizations joined the Grox out of fear and that forced alliance was fine with King Shadow Force. Shadow Force wasn't always this bitter, when his wife was alive she would always persuade him to negotiate with other civilizations to try to ally with them. but after she died while giving birth to Shadow Force's daughter Shadow Force became very bitter and angry. he loved his daughter which he had named Shelly. Shelly reminded Shadow Force of his wife because she was also very loving. when Shelly was 18 it was tradition for almost half of her body to have bionic parts on it. the bionic parts were usually black or gray, but since Shelly was royalty her father made sure she had the best parts. the color of her bionic parts were pink which matched her skin tone. but these custom made parts weren't just for looks these parts had special features, they were stronger, lighter, and Shelly's bionic eye was linked to the Grox' computer network which held all the information that the Grox had collected. Shelly had the best education she can have, she was taught about the Grox economy, about the hundreds of wars the Grox had been in, about the creatures the Grox had been to war with, about the different ships the Grox had used and built, the history of the Grox. she was also taught how to pilot a ship and even how to fight in hand to hand combat if she ever needed to. in her years of education she knew about the hundreds of species that were wiped out by the Grox and she hated that part of the Grox history. almost all the species that the Grox have destroyed were peaceful. Shelly was taught that the Grox were the most powerful in the universe and that all other creatures were useless. Shelly wasn't about to think that all other creatures were meaningless. she felt that every species had a meaning in the universe. she spent her spare time studying about the lives and cultures of other species. this was hard to do because of the limited information the Grox network had about other species.
