i hate TEN it is far too hard and has no cheats.

Oh, come on!!!! The gamers did that on purpose!!!! Why does everyone want cheats to the games???? It just takes practice. The gamers did that on purpose so that the gameplay would be a little bit more challenging then there first game The Legend Of Spyro: A New Beginning. If there was no challenge at all, they would one, get bad reviews, and two, the gamers would be mad because they could beat the whole game in under a day!!!!

I don't get it...

Most of this forum bashed ANB for being so short and easy...

True dat^ Yeah, I agree with SG2008. I beat this game twice which it's still too easy for me (in my opinion, but more difficult than AN. They should make the third one a LOT harder....

i got mad at the game but i love it

It just takes loads of practice to ace the game.

I'm a pretty good gamer, so TEN was easy for me, although I DID ask for help on this site, which I completely forgot who helped me...

I want cheats and I am not going to explain yet again why. Some people would have more fun with included cheats, especially for re-plays.

That's what Dark Spyro is for!

Cheats are only good when they're unolockable after the game's initial completion. Otherwise they make the game unsastisfying and stupidly easy.

Its only an idea to be an option, so people can decide to play through with or without cheats .

And I'ma gessing that since dark spyro is too deadly for the game itself, maybe they put that in (after beaten 5 d challenges) instead of cheats

This is still getting ridiculous. There are people that think it's too hard, and some of the more experienced gamers thinking the game still was easy for them. I tell you what, if anything's going to work out in the end, the next Spyro game should better give you an option for you to choose your difficulty level. No one would complain at that aspect anymore >.>

IF they had cheats, you should have to beat the game first. The game is never fun when you use cheats to beat it the first time.

Agreed. But I enjoyed just replaying through ANB with the cheats activated, y'know, to make my second play through fun too.

So yeah, maybe cheats after completion enabled, but I think the majourity of the people who find it too hard haven't finished it and you can't properly judge anything until you've done with it.

And besides, you musn't be trying if you're complaining. So stop saying that you can't do it when you're not even trying to do it and just making life more miserable.

I don't like cheats either, and I don't like easy games. But what I really don't like are stupidly difficult games with no point or no goal worth fighting for. Mario Galaxy isn't easy, but it's a hell of a lot of fun to play, especially compared to TEN. Kingdom Hearts wasn't easy but it was worth the effort. JMHO.

It all depends on your perception of what you see as the "goal". People may think that while having some tough spots, Kingdom Hearts could be seen "completely pointless" due to the Disney contributions. Likewise for Mario Galaxy, once again you're saving Peach from Bowser. The core foundation has remained unchanged once more. I still believe that the game itself will be fun to sink my teeth into once I finally get it next week sometime.

What I want to happen in the next Spyro game is some more glitches, in my opinion. I like to go back and play Spyro and experience the glitches that reveal places the gamers didn't want you to go. Although, since gaming is getting better and better on limiting glitches in the games, I highly doubt there will be very many glitches in the upcoming Spyro games. (But there will be glitches of course, due to the fact that human error is a factor in making the games.)

You can't ask for a glitch to be in a game .

The only way we'll know for sure if there's a glitch is if there's swimming involved. Then it's all about finding the so-called "swim in air glitch" from there on out.

Yeah, but with today's Spyro swimming it will probably take a long while to find. It was ages before an AHT swimming glitch was found.

That is if they let Spyro swim in the next game. There's still that little bit that's essential to have a swimming glitch.

NOT hard games with cheats are good but hard games with no cheats are too high for my level of hardness.

It you want a hard game with no cheats try God of War 2. It took my brother 16 hours to finish the game by just using his head.

Well I don't want anything piss easy either. As I stated in another thread, it's usually THOSE kind of games that rub off as disappointing for me. I tell you what, the only thing that will solve this issue over difficulty is if the third title will end up like Crash of the Titans and offer a range of difficulty levels for different types of gamers. That could solve the issue once and for all.

Ummmmm, HIR, Sonic Riders 1+2 doesn't have any cheats.....

I like the difficulty level just where it is. If they made it a little harder, I don't care. I'll eventually beat it.

I loved God of War 2 and I completed it without cheats, unless you count a walkthrough as a cheat.

It should be like the DS version of ANB where you get to choose your difficulty.

One thing I loved about the original trilogy (especially YOTD) is that if I got stuck somewhere I could always go to another level and do things there, like blast the UFOs in the metropolis level in GtG, or go down the long slide in the crystal level in YOTD. Then when I felt ready I could go back and tackle whatever-it-was-that-was-annoying-me again. An annoying part about the Legend of Spyro series is that if you're stuck somewhere, sorry mate, but you're gonna have to try a gazillion times before you get to move elsewhere!!

Don't you people like challenges at all I mean come on some cheats make the game too easy that you wish you never bought it.

i disagree with you arathyne cheats are the best thing for a hard game if you are going to make a hard game put cheats in it if you do not do not be surprised if you get lots of complaints about the game.

Well i'm one of the gamers that like a good challenge and this game was for those types of gamers.

... then how in the heck do people like games such as Metal Slug, Devil May Cry, and Ikaruga?

Those games are absolutely nuts and don't have cheats such as "press said button sequence and be invincible"... and yet, they are liked a lot.

TEN isn't that hard. You just need to stop whining and actually pratice. A game that provides no challenge is boring and anticlimatic. Be thankful TEN isn't like that.

You took the words out of my mouth!Yeah,it's best to practice and such.If I got stuck,I would try to find a different way to beat an enemy,etc..Just remember...Practice makes perfect!

Exactly. I tried out that difficulty mode in DMC 4 and I got through the first level after... hang on... *counting on fingers* not yet... *counting on toes* GAH! ran out of limbs!

It was about 25 tries... >___>
