Honestly? I saw it coming the minute Ignitus said they were from the same clutch of eggs in ANB.

When Cynder was confirmed as female, I actually had a feeling I knew then, but when Ignitus said that.... Ugh, I saw it all coming.

Saw it coming for a long time, didn't particularly want it to come, especially after Cynder was like she was in DotD. I'm not too fond of the romance, but it would've been better if it was still Krome Cynder and her personality.

Yeah I know, they'd probably (developers) mess it up somehow. But still I kept waiting for him to say or do something to reveal his feelings, he couldn't have been more transparent about it...

Here's a big, mysterious dragon who knows everything about my life and is who knows how old? and yet I'm going to argue with and threaten him cause he doesn't want me to help Cynder. (Yeah real subtle there Romeo)

They both kept glancing at each other. Game makers sneak stuff like that in all the time when they don't want to directly have someone point out that they're in love... (An example in Sonic Heroes, play as Team Dark, as Shadow pan the camera around so that it's facing Rouge, wait a short time and she'll wink at him.)

Yeah but fandom has noted that there are two possible pairings for Rouge, either Knuckles or Shadow. And there are little hints of Shadouge in every game since Adventure 2.
