Ok, probably ALL have you have noticed that cnyder is the ONLY girl charater in the whole dang TLOS seires! I mean, the only other girl is the mother dragonfly in ANB. Other then that...

The enemys
The moles
The other dragons
The apes
The cheetahs
etc...
are ALL MALE

whats up with that?

They did have concept art of female moles that would be randomly running around in the Dragon City, but they were cut... But yeah, Cynder and Nina are the only female characters in the whole series. But the original Spyro wasn't much better, there were only 4 female characters that often appeared in any of the three original games...

Yeah, I got that mole thing, and also there is probably some female cheetah's were running around but I ment more of the main characters that actually...talk.

Yeah, but that would have been the closest thing to more female characters in TLoS if the moles hadn't been cut

I'm not sure but I think there's a Mother Mole character in the mobile version of DotD (I don't actually know because I don't have the game, I was nosing through walkthroughs I while ago)

This... I can partially agree with. A lot of signs hint at the game being sexist but I somehow think the developers didn't have any intentions of the game being that way.

^ Well of course the developers didn't intend to have the game with that effect, it just ended up that way.

What i'm wondering is if the developers of TLoS actully THOUGHT about the genders of the characters or just never thought about it at all.

If there was a female Ice Guardian, Spyro and Cynder wouldn't be supposee to remake the dragon kind But it would be cool, Ice Guardian female, Terrador and Volteer fall in love with her, bu she is cold and in her heart she love Ignitus... Terrador exposing his strength and Volteer talking, talking, talking, exposing his thesaurus knowledge. Could you imagine that?

I don't think thy inended on the game being sexist.

Wow, that really is about it in TLoS. But don't you think all of the females would be killed, just as all the eggs were smashed, by Malefor's Apes to eliminate the possibility of a purple Dragon being born? I really don't think they intended the games to be sexist. I think it was reasonable not to have any other female dragons in the games. However, I don't see why they didn't add any extra female characters, such as Moles, Cheetahs, and Enemies.

A female Ice guardian?It might be fun..but Ignitus represents a fire element and you know ... I don't think it would be a good idea

Female Wind Guardian would be a nice idea, since Wind is an element in the LoS universe.

In my story I made sure there were more female characters.

Well, as far as there not being as many female dragon characters, based on many mythology books I have read, female wyrmlings are far rarer than male wyrmlings.

As for non-draconic creatures, perhaps there were female characters that either did not speak or were not shown as often. I mean, male and female cheetahs do not look much different from each other in nature, unlike some birds, whose colors differ because of gender. There could have been plenty of females in the village that were working to repair it, but simply did not speak as some of the other male cheetahs did.

I have a theory (although I have no proof to prove it, it seems sensible enough for me to mention it): There are three different colors of cheetahs- bright orange, gray, and light orange. Have you noticed that none of the light orange ones speak? They could have very well been females that simply did not make it clear of their gender.

the only grey cheetah that spohe was the hermit and meadow now gre colour may mean that they're slightly older

There were loads of girls in AHT. Its the only non sexist game.
