Cavern Escape [CLOSED]

Has anyone played the game Cavern Escape in Spyro's Lair? I have maybe once or twice, but I did notice something. That game came out after DOTD, does anyone think that it has to do with Spyro and Cynder escaping the center of the world? Or is it just when they were flying away from the Destroyer? I'm not sure, but I would like to hear your opinions.

I've played it before, but I don't think it has anything to do with the storyline of DotD.
