First of all, this is coming from someone who doesn't like TLOS much. The GBA version is EPIC. I saddens me this company didn't make one for DOTD really.

Anyway, back on track. Apparently, one of the developers said that there's a 1 in 5 chance of finding a 'secret' when revisiting one(?) of the worlds. Was it ever found out just what that secret is?

Also, confirming this: There's no (known) cheat to play as Cynder, right?

Confirmed by me... The mysterious door is fake. You can achieve a 99 combo with Dark Spyro by using his Dark Breath continuously(I figured this out) and there's no extra door.

Does anyone know the level?
Anyway... *goes to play all the levels*
I hope I find the secret, though I doubt it exists, because I've visited the Outer Grove heaps of times and never found it... Unless it only happens if you actually finish the level, but I'm sure SOMEONE would have found it by now...

Yeah, I knew the door one was fake too (used the same technique as you) but... I am beginning to wonder about this other one too. Shame, it would have been amazing if you could play as Cynder too.

I wonder how the rumors got the Mysterious Door Secret then...
I say that someone just made it up and it turned into a rumor.

Hm.... I guess maybe this is false then.

I still have to wonder though..... Cynder has an awful lot of animations in this game. Even when you watch the ending, she even has a 'Look up' animation, used in one image only. I'm probably barking up the wrong tree, but are there any expert hackers who could try and see if she's playable somehow?

So apparently, the combo you need is 23.

Keep going left, kill a few Frog Weeds and jump down a drop at the far end. Here you'll find two more Dragon Relics, Charge and Wall Jump. To get back out of this dead end you'll need to use your new Wall Jump ability. Simply jump back up the gap and make your way back to where the barrier blocking your way was and is. Charging the whole way will make it simpler in killing the many little purple things littering the way back. You might like to return here in the future for a special hidden bonus, it's not always here so save and reload a few times if you can't find it.

I've searched Dark and Hard mode pretty thoroughly, and can't find it, has anyone found it yet? If so, WHERE IS IT(Don't say what it is though...)?

Well, playing through it now again and no luck so far for me either.....

I hope this bonus is worth it, and not just a bunch of experience gems or anything

I'd also love to know what the extra door has then. I can't master the attack combos on this game very well sadly.

EDIT: FOUND IT.

....And how disappointing (for me, at least). Go to the area Dark mentions there, and go to the top of the hill. You'll know what it is when you see it.

Still don't know about the extra door though, anyone combo-savvy willing to give it a try on another setting?

My high is about 15.... Someone on youtube has a combo of about 40+, but nothing was shown when they got it.
