First of all, this is coming from someone who doesn't like TLOS much. The GBA version is EPIC. I saddens me this company didn't make one for DOTD really.

Anyway, back on track. Apparently, one of the developers said that there's a 1 in 5 chance of finding a 'secret' when revisiting one(?) of the worlds. Was it ever found out just what that secret is?

Also, confirming this: There's no (known) cheat to play as Cynder, right?

Yeah, I knew the door one was fake too (used the same technique as you) but... I am beginning to wonder about this other one too. Shame, it would have been amazing if you could play as Cynder too.

I wonder how the rumors got the Mysterious Door Secret then...
I say that someone just made it up and it turned into a rumor.

There are a few secrets in this game, and sadly, at this time I do not know all of them. However, there are some interesting things here:

1) Hard Mode & Dark Spyro Mode: Beat the game on easy or normal to unlock hard mode, and then beat hard mode to unlock Dark Spyro mode, where you play as the Spyro during the last portion of the Gaul fight.
2) 'Revisiting Secret': Apparently, it has been stated on a forum by one of the developers that there is a 1 in 5 chance of something special to be found by revisiting a certain level. This has yet to be found. If you know it, contact me. I will credit you.
3) The Mysterious Door: After getting all three Dragon Relics, there is still another door to be opened in the Hall of Fang and Claw... some rumors state that you can open it by reaching the 50 combo high score. This has yet to be confirmed... (Not real- this is fake)

Hm.... I guess maybe this is false then.

I still have to wonder though..... Cynder has an awful lot of animations in this game. Even when you watch the ending, she even has a 'Look up' animation, used in one image only. I'm probably barking up the wrong tree, but are there any expert hackers who could try and see if she's playable somehow?

The extra door doesn't work with Dark Spyro (too easy), but it does exist.

The revisiting level is the Swamp level.

Well, playing through it now again and no luck so far for me either.....

I hope this bonus is worth it, and not just a bunch of experience gems or anything smilie

I'd also love to know what the extra door has then. I can't master the attack combos on this game very well sadly.


EDIT: FOUND IT.

....And how disappointing (for me, at least). Go to the area Dark mentions there, and go to the top of the hill. You'll know what it is when you see it.

Still don't know about the extra door though, anyone combo-savvy willing to give it a try on another setting?

No, not the bush, but it is where that bush is. Someone is uploading a video of the 'secret', I'll post a link there soon.

My high is about 15.... Someone on youtube has a combo of about 40+, but nothing was shown when they got it.

I have found the chicken the very first time I replayed a level.....I thought it was EXTREMELY weird for a TLoS game 2 have a chicken in it. Maybe it released a butterfly for Sparxsmilie
