I am close to finishing the game and I was wondering if it is worth doing them because

They're not that hard if you know what you're doing. I tend to generally kick a lot of ass with the Earth Flail throughout unless it's the change-over round for the first one in which I've had to adapt to everything I've got.

The only little urk I faced was during the fourth challenge, where for some reason one of the Dreadwings ended up getting stuck behind the electric fence, treated as if it was a weakened enemy about to die but it never did perish. I just kept launching electric orbs and it eventually went down. Seemed weird to see it though, heh.

not hard at all, only died twice throughout all of them.

Yeah, the first 3 only took me 3 attempts each, but I'm stuck on the 4th one. The one thing I need the most to help alot is Dragon Time, and what is banned for that battle? I find the most threat I find is the Death Hounds and if you just don't dodge them exactly right then they'll knock you into the Dreadwings and the Commander's purple shockwaves and you're dead as they hit you when stunned. And the small arena you're in as that you have no time to just go catch your breath in the corner and if you hit the edge the lasers will deal fair damage anyway. I prefer to use Electric Orb. Should I use earth attacks instead or do the Health and Magic relic advantages count in the Dragon Challenges, because I've only got two health relics?

I found them easy
Just keep using the earth frail >.>

They are not hard, but... I died many times in that one level, because I always fell down from ledge to purple water.

The First Challenge was funny, elements changed all the time

i didn't use dragon time on any of them and compleated it in half an hour

I just used Earth flail but I kept holding the square button and swinging the ball around as fast as I could. Crushed 'em in minutes. Took me about twenty minutes - half an hour too.

I had a hard time playing the game itself, but the Dragon Challenges weren't bad at all once you get used to them and learn to relax a bit while playing them.

another question ; is it worth playing the game again so you can use darkspyro ? because I have missed a a few quills and relics

It is. Dark Spyro makes it much easier and the quills are worth gathering.

The last Dragon Challenge was easiest, there was only apes, not any of thos fast dogs...

The Challenges are awesome to play through with Dark Spyro. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. Furry, ape-smelling, hooting fish.

I hated that Dragon Challenge where are those fast dogs + apes...

I always fell to purple water when dog's smashed me

I disliked Dragon Challenge 4, because it was hard and annoying, but then others suggested Earth Flail and it became much easier.

Well, the dragon challenges aren't that hard. The first time, I kept dying, but eventually got used to it and defeated all five...

I'm stuck in the third one, any suggestions ? I'm using fully powered earth flail is there anything else thats good ?

I found ice tail to be helpful.

the entire story mode is very very hard the dragon challenges must be even harder.

Not a chance. About 15-25 minutes of your time if you can beat them all on the first go.

I completed them now I have unlocked the SURPRISE I wont spoil it for those that have not finished the game
