You know after you meet Hunter, right after you pass the few pillars the Golem appears. When you miss the button, it just swallows you. That's a bit random, isnt it?

There's another death scene where the Golem punches them into a wall, and another where he smacks his hand on them like they're flies. Also, if you press the wrong button during the fight with Malefor he throws them into the fire below.

Yeah, I think Malefor somehow broke Spyro and Cynder's spines when he was pressing them against the wall as they fell. They went limp.

I liked the one where the Golem grabs Cynder and flings Spyro into it's mouth.

"I'm havin' dragon tonight!" said the Golem as he came out of nowhere.
"Ah, I'm too pretty to be swallowed by an ugly, fat lava thing!" yelled Cynder as she was taken up by the Golem's big, and quite fat, hand.
"Cynder, you're an idiot!" sighed Spyro. He started to pull with the chain to get Cynder back. The Golem was too strong and he flung Spyro into his mouth and started to chew.
"Spyro you stupid dragon!" screamed Cynder. "Is that your best attempt to save me?!"
The Golem walked off and ate Cynder, chewing on her in his hand.
"I just had dragon tonight, what will I have tomorrow?" wondered the Golem. "I know, DRAGONFLY!!!"
End.

It's not fair, in PS2 version The Golem doesn't breath fire... I know about graphics and hardware, but.... He is only roaring, not flaming (in Catacombs twice and later).
