The winds were as freezing and harsh as they could possibly be. The deep blue tides washed up the society of shells from bright cerise colours to inky blue colours. I sniffed the open air and eyed the cowardly moon that constantly shudders, attempting to hide in the sinister sky. I wondered around for a moment as if I was cast on a desert, searching for the event succulent transparent liquid slivered on my taste-buds. I slobbered like a dog. I padded a distance away from the tides, just like a dog. I always considered myself a dog. Everyone did. I didn’t know of a reason why, I just knew it suited me well. I would have to leave now; Cynder would be concerned about me. So I gaited away, further away from the ocean’s ear-spitting roars. By now all I could hear was petite mumbles, but it was still a roar, no doubt. No it wasn’t loud but when you have experienced the truth you can actually see it as the truth even if it’s a lie. By now, I was standing in diminutive herds of emerald grass, all swaying in the wind. Next, little rain-drops pattered the surface. I knew that soon the rain would be something to complain about, and I would have to hastily scamper back home before I am drowned in an ocean’s amount of rain water, or Cynder becomes concerned for the loss of my presence. I’m always prepared for a moment like this, ever since I first started my long journey. I know it’s over, but I somehow still think it’s going on. I miss a lot of things from my journey, especially Ignitus. I couldn’t believe he died. Sometimes I even begin to think about Malefor too, I miss him too in a way, and I think he could have a second-chance to change. Finally, I caught sight of Cynder. She was coiled up in the beige nest, fast asleep in the rain, struggling to sleep comfortably. I had to tell her someday that I don’t love her. I had to tell her someday. She simpered, but was still asleep. I crept into the nest and slept beside her, attempting to ignore the wind’s intimidating snarls, the grass’s hisses and the growls of the ocean. I pretended they didn’t exist, but I knew full well they did as they rang in my head again and again.

Malefor stared at me, worried. His head was so close up to me I had to back away. He twitched, jerking his head back and then frowning. I stared at him.
“Spyro, why not look into joining me? We will be perfect, two powerful dragons combined!” He said, persuading me. I was silent, and stared at him for another long period of time.
“Combined…” I mumbled. “Together?” I exclaimed. Malefor grinned.
“Of course,” He said. I went closer towards him and licked him, then

“Spyro!” Cried Cynder loudly.

I glanced at the figure that I expected to be Cynder beside me and gasped. The figure as I guessed was certainly not Cynder. It was a larger, more magnificent figure beside me. Soon later, the figure stood up, his purple scales shining. Malefor was back. He glanced at me with his amber wolf eyes, making me feel meek and puny. I stared at him with my droopy puppy eyes, making him feel even more muscular. My flickering tongue swam in a pool of agglutinative saliva and I blinked hard twice to encourage myself.
“Hello, Spyro,” He said, circling around me. I blushed, still as sub-zero ice. Malefor grinned, and then chortled. “So, are you thinking about joining me?” He said, shoving his bulky head towards me. I saw every single striking detail of his face. I thought for a moment. If I turned dark, I would be betraying Ignitus. But if I turned dark, I would get to see more of Malefor. Many thoughts flew in my head, until I finally caught an opinion and automatically agreed.
“Yes,” I said, still staring at him. Malefor moved into a more comfortable position. “Now where shall we start?”
I was beginning to feel slightly excited, but I was soon let-down.
“We start by sending in armies to slaughter them,” Malefor said, making his voice sharp and deafening.
“Where are the armies?” I asked, turning. I saw a large crowd of minions, from bright green and scaly to dark red and furry. Malefor was silent. We both stared, eye to eye. Malefor soon turned and ordered the armies to attack Avalar. We got back to our staring session. Malefor stared at me, worried. His head was so close up to me I had to back away. He twitched, jerking his head back and then frowning.
“So… We are combined?” I exclaimed over the still loud winds. Malefor nodded, and then grinned. I stepped closer towards him and licked his face.
