One morning the Flying Ninja was going on his usual petrol run. When he was literally hit by a purple flying missile.

One look at Spyro and he assumes that Spyro is a henchman of The Bug.
One look at The Flying Ninja and Spyro assumes he's one of Ripto's goons.

You see where this is going don't you?


Flying Ninja vs. Spyro! Part II


One look at the scene and dragonfly new there was going to be trouble, so he bused of like the cowed he must have been.

"Ah! An assassin from Bug are you!" Said the Flying Ninja, throwing a shurikan at the dragon, which he easily dodged.
"No minion of Ripto will defeat ME!" Said the dragon, the fire clearly seen in his eyes.

The dragon makes the next move. He charges at Flying Ninja. Flying Ninja does a summersoult to dodges this attack, gets air and forces his foot into the dragons tail-bone.

The dragon screams in pain and falls.

"Ha! That was too easy!" Content with himself the Flying Ninja doun't notice the dragon rising up into the sky once more.
"The names Spyro! I just wanted you to know that before I KILL you!"

Flying Ninja vs. Spyro the Dragon Part III


The Flying Ninja turns around unsurprized. "Persistent little devil aren't you?"
Spyro winces in pain as his tail moves in the wind."I'm not going to be beaten that easily."
"I'm sure you won't." This time the Flying Ninja charges.
Spyro smashes Ninja in the face then takes the initiative to attack. He opens his Maw and out comes molten rock.
Ninja passives this and effortlessly moves sideways, the fire moving strait past him. He grabs a shurikan and throws it into Spyro's mouth.
Spyro swallows the shurikan, then is stunned for a second. "Mmmm! Tastes like chicken!" Then charges at Ninja of-guard.

Flying Ninja vs. Spyro Part IV


Spyro uppercuts the Flying Ninja in the mouth.
The Flying Ninja is knocked out. And falls the great hight.
However Spyro spun in order to achieve the uppercut and his injured tail did not spin with the rest of his body. Pain shot through Spyro to the point of unconsciousness. They fell to the ground.

Spyro woke up on his back. He couldn't move. He was paralyzed. All he could do was move his eyes pointlessly. He could see the Flying Ninja groan and stand up from the corner of his eye. "I've failed!" He thought to himself hopelessly. "I'm going to die."
The Ninja walked up to Spyro. "Hmmm. You seem pretty desperate. I can tell in your eyes."
Spyro could do nothing but stare at him.
"You don't work for Bug do you?" The Ninja looks at Spyro waiting for an answer, but to no avail. "Hmmm." The Ninja sits on the ground and retrieves a white box from his pocket, opens it and takes out a red vial. "Drink this." The Ninja opens the vial, lifts Spyro's head and carefully pores the warm liquid down his throat.
Feeling comes back to Spyro, but with it pain. Spyro screams in agony as the damage to his body is revealed. After what seams like hours the pain eventually starts to dull to the point of bearable. He can move again but the pain had left him exhausted and all he could do was gasp for breath between his own choking sobs.

Flying Ninja vs. Spyro the Dragon part V

The Flying ninja walks up to Spyro. "Here! Drink this." Spyro forces his head back. "Its just water" said the ninja laughing.
"I'v been put of drinking from bottles for a while." Spyro stood. But he overestimated his strength and his knees couldn't hold him so he fell over.
"Conserve your energy to rest, Spyro!"
Spyro just lied there, as helpless as he started. Then the thought occurred to him. "Why did you attack me?"
"I fought you where a minion of Bug."
"Who's Bug?"
The ninja was taken back by this. "You don't know Bug? He is the ruler of this entire province."
"So why do you hate this Bug so much?"
The ninja's face darkens. "Bug is an evil king. His people hate him yet anyone who opposes him..."
An icy shiver runs down Spyro's back.
"A fate FAR worse than death." The ninja's voice is cold as ice. "His slaves, or assassins, are tortured into his biding, there only salvation is death. When such salvation is near they are atlast at peace, However when I saw you at that brink, you did not show that face."
Spyro was saddened by this, then stood up and shook his head. "No-one deserves such a life!" The fire in Spyro was released. "NO-ONE!" Spyro's voice echode around the mountain side. He then sprinted up to the ninja. "I will NOT let someone like that treat peaple that way. Bug should ran and hide becouse I will find this Bug! Rip its arms and legs off! And leave him to die! Becouse I, Spyro Ignitason, Will NEVER let that happen!!!!!!!!!!!"

Id add Cyrill becouse you peaple like him so much but this is old school Spyro and theres no Cyril in old-school Spyro. Why I put it in old school Spyro, becouse he has a better personality for this storie. Hotheaded and determined.

Chapter II

"Whaoe! Hold on Spyro!" "Do you really think that you could defeat Bug when its taken me what, 2 years to desamate Kalrom. That was a Minor operation. And it was through pure luck that it worked."
Spyro raises his eyebrow, "Kalrom?"
"Long story. The point is that if you try and fight Bug 1 on 1 I'll be scrapping your remains of the walls with a spatulare."
"So we think of a plan. I've taken out some pretty big foes in my time."
"So have I but that dousn't give me any reason to rush into battle blindly. Bugs soldiers are powerful. You have to think about what your doing."
"So what your saying is that becouse Bug's soldiers are so powerful we shouldn't fight the?"
"Yes Spyro that exactly what I'm saying."
"Whell your just a human. I;m a dragon, dragons are a little stronger than humans in battle."

The conversation is interrupted by a bolt of green thunder whizzing past spyro.
He turns around to meet a familiar foe.

Gulp....


Chapter II part II

"What do you want Gulp." Yells spyro.
"Rarrrr!"
"...Right. Spyro who is that?"
"That, is Gulp." Spyro never takes his eyes off gulp. "Wheres your master?"
"Mraaah!"
Shock appears on Spyro's face.
Ninja raises an eyebrow at Spyro "You can understand him?"
"Quiet!"
"..."

Gulp started to explain what was going on and Spyro translated for Ninja.

Apparently Ripto, (Gulp's master) had abandoned him.
Ninja started to dought Spyro's translating abilities when he started saying that Ripto ran away with a giant green coconut.
"Are you sure you know what he's saying Spyro?"
"Whell he's actually saying that."
"Mraaaa!"
"Now he just said that he turned into a flying ballerina and that Crush' club floated above his head and knocked him out! Are you just making this up!..." Spyro just realized what was going on. "ITS A TRAP!"
Spyro and Ninja jump out of the way of a giant club that crashes to the ground shattering the earth where Spyro was just standing. "You... Imbi'... SPYRO WOULD BE DEAD BY OW IF IT WEREN'T FOR YOUR PATHETIC... MAAAR!!"
"RAAA!" (You told me to say it, I said EXACTLY what you wanted me to say)
"Well you should have said it more real"
"MROORA!" (How on earth am I supposed to say that you ran away with a giant green coconut more real?)
"SHRAAK" (Less talking more CRUSHING now... Where'd they go?)
Ripto slaps himself in the face. "FIND THEM!!!!!!!"
"SHREEK!" (If you two would STOP fighting we might actually get somewhere)


Chapter II part III

"Are they ALWAYS arguing?" Inquired Ninja.
"Aha." replied Spyro.
"So thats the fabled Ripto, ha?"
"Yea."
"Well at least we esscaped."

The flying ninja and Spyro were airborn once more. They had to keep behind the cover of mountains. Gulp had an exeptional eye and an even better aim when it came to using anti-air guns. Spyro noticed black shapes in the distance, five of them, as they got closer they ecame more defined. they where round metalic balls whith a long pipe sticking out the side. Spyro's eyes grew to three times there usual size as he realized what they were, Air-Guns. Spyro rolled out of the way as a line of bullets flew strait past where he was. He shot a fireball at the gun and sent it to the ground in flames. He was being shot at from above, from below, from above, in front, but it was when he was being shot at from behind that he new he was in trouble. There seemed to be a whole lot more than five. He was in a whole cloud of them. hundreds of guns firing at him and ninja. The only sound that cut out the screeming of the guns was the booming of flak guns on the ground.

Spyro tried to dive down but was repelled by dense flak. He was shot in the leg. But he was to terrified to feel any pain. Instead he just bolted in one direction blindly and hoped that he wouldn't get shot. Which he didn't. Surprisingly, he opened his eyes and saw a cave which he could hide in. He bolted for it but his wing gat clipped by flack. He stalled and crash-landed into the mouth of the cave.

He looked back and saw Flying ninja being shot at. He dodged each bullet with ease. However it looked like something else was closing in. Many of the air-cannons stopped firing and the booming of the flak cannons ceased. Until everything was silent. Spyro would have gone to help but his wing was so badly cut that he would never be able to fly without rest. All he could do was whatch a huge black air-ship move in and take the Flying ninja. On the side was written.

Volume 3
Episode 1

The cell was a dark room about 9ft by 9ft
The ninja lay in the middle, his hands cuffed from behind.
A door opened and he squinted from the light.
From it emerged a skeletal creature, a quadruped about 6 ft in height.
With two pincers on the side of its face, the creature dragged the ninja out of the room by the shoulders.

The light hurt the ninja’s eyes everything was white for a minute but then he started to see that he was in a triangular shaped room that was about 20 ft by 12 ft. And right in front of him was…

“Oh no not you!”
The man clad in red armour punched him in the face.
The ninja quickly recovered and looked up and Pathis. “I thought you where dead?”
“You left me on that mountain to die, Ellrike. I never died, Bug’s forces eventually found me, and I trust them even more than you.”
“Pathis I’m sorry.”
“I WAS YOUR FRIEND! We where partners! I trusted you with my life! And… and you repay my trust with betrayal?”
“We would have all been killed if I didn’t do something! You of all people Pathis…!”
“Pathis is DEAD!” Pathis turned around and gazed out a window, his eyes unfocused as if in a dream, “I am the captain of the A.S. Kensighn. I was once an assassin for the very man I swore to kill…” about a minute past before he spoke again, “There all dead Ellrike!”
“What?!”
“Zoë, Delk, Kengin… They embraced my return, they thought I was dead… The last words that Zengine spoke before her end still haunts me to this day.”
“Who are you?” The sympathy in Ellrike’s voice was clear.
“I am no-one, just a shell.” At this Pathis raised a fire-arm at the ninja’s head and pulled the trigger.

Volume III Episode II


Spyro’s wing was drenched in blood. The cave was silent save the trickling of blood that trailed down and fell upon the rocks. It had been about an hour and his wounds still bled, and Spyro was becoming light headed. He lay upon the ground, his eyes fixed on nothing.

Spyro started to speak to himself weakly.

“Go to sleep Spyro.”
“No I must not!”
“Let yourself go and sleep.”
“If I sleep I will never wake up.”
“You long for sleep Spyro, let yourself sleep, you are exhausted.”
“I… must not… go… to…”
“Don’t sleep, you’ve lost blood.” These where not Spyro’s words.
Spyro saw a figure above him. “Cinder? Is that you?”
“Don’t die, I’m looking after you.”
“Cinder, I miss you.”
“Keep awake.”
“Cinder don’t go!... Cinder…”
It was then that all went dark, Spyro could not fight it anymore, and he slept…

* * *

Spyro dreamt, he dreamt that he was standing next to Cinder, he tried to speak to her but she couldn’t see him, she looked worried. “Spyro, where are you?”
“I’m here!”
Cinder walked strait past him looking in all direction “Spyro I’m lost where did you go Spyro?!!”
It was then that Spyro realised where they where. A grassy flat, surrounded by thick trees. “CINDER GET UNDER COVER NOW BEFOR…!!!”
Spyro and Cinder heard a dragons roar and both looked up to see a huge Purple dragon swoop down and grab Cinder in its jaw. Cinder only managed a small scream before she was crushed.

“NO CINDER!!!” Spyro awoke dripping in sweat.
“Its alright, it was just a dream.” A wet piece of cloth was applied to Spyro’s fore-head.
Spyro was slightly agitated. “Where am I?” When he tried to move his left wing he found it bandaged up.
“Your in a mining camp. Lucky we found you. You were nearly a goner.”
Spyro’s eyes focused on a young human girl with dark-brown hair. She seemed to be avoiding his gaze.
“You loved her, didn’t you?”
“What?” The nightmare had quickly escaped his mind.
“You where talking in your sleep, I heard what you said, about the dark master and… and Cinder.”

Spyro just looked strait ahead. “I wish I could have saved her.”
“I understand how it feels to lose someone important to you. My whole family was taken by Bug.”
10 years had past and the event was still vivid in Spyro’s mind. The scream of terror that Cinder gave still haunted his dreams.

“Rest, good friend. You will need your strength.”

Spyro was once again asleep. And his nightmare repeated.

Spyro woke with the sun high in the sky. He felt his wing was healed, so he removed the bandage, stale bread fell from the cast. He got up and took a look outside. He went from a small tent onto an angled slab of stone.
“Ah! The hero awakens!!”
“What?”
“Elandra told us all about the battles you’ve one against this, ah who?”
“Ripto.” Elandra stood out of the crowd and looked at Spyro slightly embarrassed. “Sorry, they wouldn’t leave me alone as soon as they found out that you’d spoken to me about your adventures in your sleep.”
It was then that the Air-Ship that had kidnapped the Ninja flew overhead. Startling the nomads and darkening the sky for a second.
“KENSIGHN!!!!” Spyro took to the sky once more and whent after the ship.

Volume IV Episode I

Spyro attached himself to the bottom of the ship and ripped away the hull, allowing himself entry. He found himself within a small grimy Corridor. He could hear powerful engines running down one way. Upon the wall was an air vent that he effortlessly ripped away and climbed through the tunnel. His great bulk made it a difficult task but it was necessary. It took a minute of hard work to cross 30 feet. On the 1st turn up however, in which he'd gotten himself jammed, the vent started to widen up quit dramatically. Blood started to circulate through his wings and came pins and needles. The bruise on his right arm disproved the theory that nothing was more purple than Spyro, and his left injured wing throbbed. Without realising it at first he started to follow the scent of roasted lamb. Round a few corners and he found the source, he peered through a ground-grate to see a plate of roasted lamb with gravy and Pease and potato! “OH MY!” he said quietly, “Looks yummy, gotta eat that... NO!! Must stay stealthy... But it looks so so yummy!” Spyro’s mouth watered. His drool fell from his lips, down the grate and into a glass of water, which was systematically skulled by a human being down bellow. “Ick!!!” Spyro shook his head, he was about to open the grate to get the food when he heard a familiar voice...

“Oh no not you!”
“Ninja?” Said Spyro, he moved down one of the corridors, and found the Flying Ninja kneeling in front of another man... Spyro listened to the whole conversation, “... He betrayed his friend? But why?” He thought to himself. When Spyro saw the weapon rise to the Ninja’s head he instinctively reacted, “NO!!!” Spyro smashed through the grate, flew through the air, and took the bullet.

Episode II

Spyro felt a sharp prick, then a red-hot metal rod was forced through his body... He screamed in pain. He crashed into the ground did a barrel roll, then landed on his side.
"WHAT THE...? How did that get in here?!" Pathis looked at Spyro then the Ninja, an angry look on his face. Gruesome skeletal creatures moved towards Spyro, however Pathis gave them a look and they stopped.

"Ack." Spyro was bleeding, "My name is Spyro," He got up and looked at Pathis, "You just tried to kill my friend." Spyro's movements where making the skeletal creatures a little restless, some of them where lightly clawing at the ground.

"You just jumped in front on my bullet," Pathis cocked the weapon, "Any normal person would try to knock it out of my hand," Pathis raised his gun at Spyro and fired. Spyro jumped out of the way of the bullet. "Your surprisingly nimble considering your injury," Pathis said as he re-cocked his gun.

"I've had worse, trust me." Spyro dodged another shot. HE then charged at Pathis before he could re-load. Spyro jumped up and threw a kick at Pathis. Pathis disappeared... "Hey what the...?"

Before he could finish his sentence, a foot smashed into the back of his head, and he was beaten across the room. Pathis did a back-flip and landed on his feet. “Hmm...”

“Nice party trick,” Spyro got up, “Do you do kid’s birth-days?” Pathis slid his gun across the ground to one of the skeletons, and then cracked his neck.

“Enough games, lizard.” Pathis stood in a martial stance.

“I’m only getting started,” said Spyro. He ignored the bullet wound and stood to full height.

Both Spyro and Pathis charged at each-other.
