Chapter One: The Beginning of It All

Darkness. This is what filled my small world. My knee was practically in my toothless mouth, and my tail was wrapped around my entire body. Twice. I had it with the cramped place, and rammed my head up. My world shattered on the top. Ahh! Too bright in this place! I blinked and shook my head. I saw something, large and black. I continued blinking, squinting every time my eyes were open. I stretched my arm, and it popped from my hard prison. I looked at my old world, a light orange colored shell speckled with bright red. I continued blinking, for my vision was fuzzy. My tail broke lose next, and I stared at a bright red twin blade on it's tip. I kicked both my legs, and the hard thing that held me broke into a million pieces.I heard a sound. It was a purr, no a hirrr. It was coming from me. I heard something else, a murmur. It said, "What do we do!? We can't eat that!" it hissed. i heard a deeper sound, "Shh! Don't tell it that!" I squinted at myself. I was a light orange, and my claws were bright red. I tried to communicate, "Aya! Eeeng." The shapes looked at me quizzically. My vision cleared, and I saw two large lizards. They had bat-like wings and claws and horns. I saw one's tail, with three blades coming from it. These sat on their haunches, and they had large eyes. I made sort of a gurgling noise, unintentionally. They laughed and blinked at me, grinning. "Pownsi, what do we do with it?" the one with the deep voice asked. "I don't know, dear." Powni said watching me. I grinned, revealing only gums. They laughed again, the deep voiced one falling onto it's back. I laughed to, but I didn't know how I did it. "Let's keep it, Kinka!" Pownsi cried out through laughter.

Chapter Two: First Fear

I yawned and rolled over in my nest. Two years had passed and I was at home. We lived in a cave, which was in the center of a meadow. My mother, Pownsi, was good to me. She watched my every move and I was learning how to use my small teeth effectively. Father, Kinka, had made a small dummy of an adult dragon who I battled with often. The dragon stood there with an unreadable expression, witch annoyed me. I walked into our field, which was full of birds and mice. This was perfect for training me to hunt, and I enjoyed it. I crouched down, flexing my small, orange wings. It crept forward, silent. My paws moved swiftly, and I pounced. I heard terrified squeaks, which told my the prey was there. I bit down, and the sound stopped. I proudly took it back to Mother, who praised me greatly. "Fantastic! Soon Kinka will no longer have to hunt for us." she smiled. I went across the cave to where my father slept, and placed the rat there. I exited and went over to the dragon dummy, growling at it's strait expression. I lunged, but was grabbed by something. It was large, had scaly paws, and wings. I looked up, and saw a blue dragon. I yelped, and opened my mouth to scream. Something hot burst out onto it, and the dragon roared. I was dropped, right onto the dummy dragon. I groaned and looked up, seeing the enemy swooping. Hiding under the dummy, I heard a roar. I smelt my father, and heard the roar of his voice, "Yuoi! Move off!" he bellowed. I peeked out to see him flex his wings. "And who's going to make me!?" the blue dragon roared back in a deep voice. Father charged into him, breathing the hot red stuff into Yuoi. The foe shot something blue at father, and he snarled in anger. One of the blue things hit me, and it felt cold. I sniffed it and licked it, and my forked tongue was stuck! "Eck." I stated between an outstretched tongue.

Chapter Three: The Capturing

Yuoi pinned my father down, hissing in his ear, "And your little wife is next!" I screeched and leaped out at the foe, gnawing at his horns. He laughed at me and shook me of with a flick of his head. I landed on my tail, and groaned. "So, I take it this is yours, Kinka?" he smirked. My father's eyes widened with horror as Yuoi plucked me up and let me dangle from two claws around my neck. Suddenly I bit his thumb, which led to me being dropped onto my father's chest. Mother was watching, frozen in place by terror. Kinka kicked up with his kind legs, Yuoi landing on his side. "NEMPA!" screeched the blue dragon, getting to his paws. A screech, like the sound of a whistling tea pot, filled my ears and I covered the sides of my head with my front paws. Father gasped, "You're sick! It's against dragon law and kind to summon that beast!" Yeoi laughed again, "I'm against dragon kind." I looked about, wondering what had made the horrible screech. All of a sudden, two large, blood red eyes with slits fro pupils entered my vision. A growl-like rumble shook inside my head, and it seemed to come from everywhere. I looked around, seeing only one pair of these blood thirsty eyes. All I saw were fangs, claws, ten cat-like heads, and a body before my vision was blank.

My head throbbed, my sides ached, and my eyes didn't see as they used to. I saw a brown shape and a black shape looking at my face. "Hello . . . ?" the brown asked. "Shilah! You really think this is a good idea?" the black asked, stammering. I saw the they were both dragons like me, but 'Shilah' was a female. They seemed much older than me, 15 dragon years at most. "Ugh . . . Who are you?" I managed to ask. "Shilah the earth dragoness, at your service!" she exclaimed. "Why should I tell you?" the black male huffed. "Good poi-." I was cut off. "I'm not telling you until you tell me who you are!" he continued. "The name is Ranskar." I stated. He squinted at me, "Zarrar." "Nice to meet you, Zarrar, Shilah." I attempted to smile, but my legs aches so much . . . "Where are we?" Shilah looked at her paws, "Yuoi's dungeon. really just a canyon that has hollowed out 'rooms' in it. His guards, lions, tigers, and cheetahs, patrol us constantly." I growled, "The traitor was at my home only a minuet ago." Zarrar snorted, "Hours ago, then. His Apocalyptic Beast was carrying you around in it's jaws like a prize. A tiger took you and chucked you in here a half an hour ago." My mouth dropped open, "What about my mother, or my father!?" I cried. "he doesn't take adult prisoners." Shilah whispered, "Adults he kills." My eyes watered and I looked down, and Zarrar looked away. Shilah put a wing around me, "But we'll help you." Zarrar's head snapped around, "Do I have no say in this?" She shot him the 'I'm going to kill you if you say anything else' look, and he fell silent. I sniffled, and looked up. A cheetah guard was staring at me, and I growled at her. She hissed at me. I recoiled and his behind Zarrar, whining. He spread his wings and opened his mouth in a threatening way. It fluffed up it's tail and ran off, and Zarrar smiled triumphantly. Shilah sighed, "Welcome to your new home . . . of torture."

This is very interesting. Though I do have a little trouble keeping track of which sentance I am on because everything is one giant blob of text and I think if you would space it out it would looks nicer. Though that is my personal preference. If you keep writing, I will keep reading regardless.

eh, some like it when the speaking is a whole paragraph. yeah, I'm not doing that. But glob-. . .-ness is what I do. Whatever, though.
