I know you were hyper and all, "newt42", but it's dangerous to put your picture on the internet. I know there are people out there who would just like to weasel all of your personal information out of you. (Not that any of us are any of these people.) Just make sure to think your actions through before you do them.

I don't think any of the members on this site would do such a thing. It all friendly people who is on this site.

Don't be too sure of that. There may well be someone spying over the site looking for fools.

I personally don't think there's anything wrong with the thread. If you've ever been on any other forums, chances are that they'll have picture threads everywhere. As long as you don't post the really personal stuff like phone numbers, your address, etc. you should be fine. It's not without mentioning that stalkers DO exist, so be alert.

I know. I'm just worried about people explaining all of their personal information willy-nilly. Because with all of those people out there, you'll never know. For example, I watched a video in Middle School about this girl who was depressed. She was chatting with this dude online who excepted her feelings, and "weezled" out all of her personal information. A few days later, the guy showed up on her doorstep, but she was able to call the cops on him. Now, the guys in jail, but once he's released anything could happen, since he knows all of her personal information.

(Side Note: Part of her information was listed under her Username and all of that stuff as well.)

Seriously though. A person is not going to find out where you live and what your phone number and stuff is just by knowing what you look like.

Don't be so sure about that. You may NEVER know. Some ppl are smart with this kind of technology, so it MIGHT happen...

Hence it's up to you to determine the amount of info you're willing to expose to the public, and to who. Some people are more paranoid like perhaps the above poster, while others are more willing to "expose" themselves, so to speak.
